YEBISU BAR was such a cozy and stylish spot to enjoy the evening! The atmosphere inside felt warm and inviting, with a perfect view of the street through the big glass windows. The food was excellent — I ordered the steak with potatoes and it was tender, flavorful, and beautifully served on a hot plate. The drink (with a refreshing slice of orange) paired perfectly and added a nice balance.

Service was quick and friendly, and I loved the lively yet relaxed vibe of the bar. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for a chill evening with delicious food and...

I have to start with the service because it was exceptional. Truly outstanding. I returned here because I was so impressed. And then I made a mistake of ordering the cheese platter (see pic). Cheese is expensive here in Japan, and so the quantity of cheese for the price (¥1,580) was as expected. But for all that cheese and prosciutto: two little crackers. Count them. One. Two. Pathetic.

I would return to this bar to experience the good beer and awesome service, but I won’t be touching their menu given that level...

Awesome place. It's right in front of the Kyoto station, so you can pick something to eat and/or drink if you have to wait for your next train or bus. The staff is friendly and kind and they speak English very well. Prices are ok. Food is excellent. We ordered pizzas and some snacks. Pizzas were delightful. Slim and really tasty. If you like wasabi like me or spicy food or if you just want to eat light, then the "wasabi-and-miso cream cheese" is a MUST. Highly...
