I will definitely be visiting these ladies again the next time I visit Kyoto! 🥰 My nails were in sad shape during my trip and I needed to find a local salon that would take walk-ins and be willing to communicate with a foreigner. I am so glad I found them. They were not only incredibly nice, but also very patient and experienced in using Google translate.

They have so many nail designs to choose from, but honestly, with their expertise, I probably could have shown them a picture and they would have executed it flawlessly.

I chose acrylic extensions and she did them SO professionally! I was amazed at her skill and speed. I’ve never had acrylic extensions before but these looked and felt just like Gel X extensions. I can’t believe she made them out of powder. 😭

The other nail tech did the gel design, and she drew the flowers so fast and so perfectly! They are truly masters at their craft.

The salon is cozy and intimate. Super clean inside. I was also able to walk from my hotel (about 15 minutes). It seemed a little out of the way from the main road but very easy to find with Google Maps. It was a great opportunity for me to explore more of Kyoto. ☺️

My nails have lasted 4.5 weeks with no breakage at all (for context, I got them done 4/5 and it is now 5/7). I am still able to wash my hair without having to worry about strands going under the extensions. Designs are still immaculate. I don’t want to remove them but I also can’t function with this length any longer lol. See pictures for initial length and after 4.5 weeks!

When I moved to Kyoto for 5 months, the first thing I did was find a nail salon. The one beauty service I love getting done regularly. This salon was super close to home and the ladies there are AMAZING. I went every 2 weeks to try something new. I even let them do gel extensions which is MAJOR for me as I am very careful about my nail health after years of damage from gel manicures. They are so careful and gentle. Their attentional to detail is unmatched. BEYOND TALENTED. I hope to go back and visit someday. They definitely made Kyoto feel like...

I just visited them, with hesitation that they will not accept without reservation as many other nail spots. Surprisingly they did! And they were extremely beyond kind and very fast. The girls handled each hand carefully they helped me with everything i need and asked me to take time before i decide. Thank you so much! I regret not finding this spot even though they are couple of steps around my hotel :( thank you girls you were adorable and i loved my nails for a first time gel nails for me! kawaii!!
