Raclette loom — Restaurant in Kyoto

Found this place by accident on our way home from Yoiyama nights which was a bit too overwhelming for our family to successfully navigate. It was nice to stop into a quiet and friendly shop for dinner. The 10 and 12 year old were exhausted and said they weren't hungry but I knew they needed to eat and knew that pasta would do it. We ordered the salad (delish with fruit but for me slightly overdressed), shishitos and pickles (Japanese style) which went really well together. Ordered pasta with red sauce and beef ragout "for the table" and kids devoured both (mission accomplished). The staff was so friendly, attentive, and helpful - they were a joy. Overall this hidden gem is a beautiful mix of Italian and Japanese (but very much leans Italian) and we would definitely recommend if you need a brief break from all the delicious sushi, izakaya,...

Great menu options. Vegetarian options available. We got the steak with raclette, French fries with raclette, and the mushroom & seasonal vegetables ajillo. You can tell the ingredients are top quality and prepared with love. And the raclette cheese was top quality

The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Despite the language barrier, their warmth and passion for what they do made the whole experience even more memorable.

今年1月10日オープンした河原町から徒歩7分のお店✨ たどり着くと、なんて素敵な外観‼️ 口コミを見ただけでは分からなかった！ 店内も木の温もりを貴重としてて素敵過ぎます🥺 ナチュラルでイタリアの郊外にありそうな雰囲気。 お客さんも不思議とフラッと入ってきた外国の方が多く、客層まで素敵です✨

チーズとワインのお店という事で、ズラリと並んだワインリストから、オススメを聞いたら「オーダーするお料理に合わせますよ」とのことで✨嬉しい✨ 私は【ペコリーノ】1100円 売れた桃のようにフルーティーで甘めのワイン♪ 友達はスッキリ飲みやすい【ビアンコ】700円をオーダーしてました。 カトラリーもとってもオシャレ✨

【鶏ハムと温野菜3種】2000円をオーダー。 お店の方が熱々のラクレットチーズをかけてくれるパフォーマンス付きです‼️ 鶏ハムはチャーシューのように巻かれています。 食感ふっくら！✨ 洋風スパイスと相まって美味！ ガレットも入ってて、とっても美味しい！✨ やばい、これだけで、まぁまぁお腹いっぱいになる🤣

【煮豚のスライス〜フレンチ風〜】980円 わー✨彩り綺麗✨ え、お肉めっちゃ美味しい！何これ⁉️😍 柔らかくてジューシー、そこへ素材を引き立てるような洋なスパイス。 シンプルにお塩が美味しいのかもしれないけど、うっすらかかってるお出汁のようなソースがたまらなく美味しい！ バゲッドをつけて全部食べたいくらい‼️

【大宮果樹園こりんごとグリーンサラダ】580円 あっ！んんん❤️美味しい✨ 野菜のサッパリシャキシャキにフルーツの甘味。 ドレッシングさ酸味のあるサッパリしたもので、フルーツの甘味といったりきたり。

【サーロインステーキ温野菜3種】2200円 こたらもラクレットをかけて下さいます✨ んん〜美味しい！ チーズがかなり濃厚なのに、お肉が負けてないっ！ 噛むと中からジュワジュワ肉汁が！ こちらにもポテト入ってて美味しいー😋

【ピザ　海老のアメリケーヌソース】1500円 ピザはハーフサイズ830円もあるのもメッチャいい♪ 海老をベースにしたアメリケーヌソースが好きで頼んだけど、6当分されたピザには一切れずつ海老が乗っています！ この海老の甘い事！ 海老ベースとソースと絡んでるから余計に旨味がほとばしる‼️ 海老がより海老です‼️😆
