I must be weak because a short walk in the hot sun from the nearby station and already I was needing a cold beverage and a frozen jelly iceblock if only I could get them in the same item. But wait this place has just that.Alrhough I didn't try any I think their speciality Is Mochi and Macha related items. Also a good landmark for the turn to the...

The staff introduced some of their products & clearly explained the expiry dates. We bought a box of 3 round matcha manju & it was among the best snacks we had in Japan. Dense, mildly sweet with a gentle flavor. Should have bought a bigger box!

They close at 5pm so do buy before having dinner at the many great...

One word. Oishi! Super nice texture, chewy from the mochi, sweet, delicate, refreshing. Really love it.

A bit challenging to speak english, but eventually everybody understands.

Service excellent. Price relatively higher than my expectations, but taste..again…super good. Walking distance from the arashiyama...
