7-Eleven Ōsaka Nipponbashi 3-chōme — Local services in Osaka

This 7/11 was incredibly convenient, especially being right next to our hotel. We loved stopping by because they always had what we needed—whether it was snacks, drinks, or quick meals. It became our go-to spot, even for those late-night (or early morning) visits at 3 AM.

The only downside was the staff. They weren’t very friendly, and at times, it felt like they might have been laughing at us for coming in so often. It could’ve just been our perception, but either way, a little more warmth from the employees would’ve made the experience even better.

Probably the worse 7-11 experience in the whole of Japan.

Early in the morning getting a cup of coffee and female attendant shouted at me with a bunch of Japanese words and giving me a rude / frustrated. Even scan and throw the scanner down on the counter to show that she is unhappy

Turns out she is saying that I should pay for my coffee before filling it

In my other 7-11 stores experience, no one said or give this attitude. In fact they ask that I fill it before paying

After I paid, she still give me a frustrated attitude

Hope 7-11 Japan can look into this...

아침 7시에 갔는데 머리짧은 여성분!!! 계산 끝날때까지 말 한마디 없고요, 엄청나게 불편한 기색의 표정이 상당해요(들어올 때부터 그랬어요). 앞에 westerner 아저씨도 나와 같은 tourist이고, 같은 ICOCA 교통카드 결제 했는데, 어쩌고 저쩌고 말하면서 마지막에 영수증까지 친절하게 뽑아주더라고요? 저도 일부러 몇 초 기다려 봤는데, 본인 할 일 바로 하더라고요? 그래서 그냥 제가 영수증 뽑았어요. 그리고 옆에 뚱뚱하고 안경끼신 여성분도 계산하는데 말 한마디 없고, 무표정이고, 저희가 coffee를 latte를 계산하고, 실수로 ice black coffee를 뽑아서 ice black coffee를 하나 더 계산하고 latte를 뽑아도 되느냐? 했는데 안된대요. 한국은 유도리가 엄청 있기 때문에 보통 해주죠. 여긴 일본이고 말도 안통하고 그렇다면 어떻게 할 방법은 없겠습니다. 그래서 그냥 latte를 하나 더 사겠다고 했습니다. 그랬더니 번역기를 내밀면서 "고객님 실수이기 때문에 안됩니다"만 여러번 보여주더라고요. umm 번역이 잘못 됐을수도 있고, 진짜 일본 문화가 그렇다면 이번에 알게 되는거죠. 그런데 일 하는데 매우 귀찮아 보여했으며, 해결 하고 싶은 모습이 하나도 보이지 않았습니다. 그리고 누가봐도 asian인데 왜 영어 번역기를 보여줬을까요? 중국어 아니면 한국어 보여줘야 되는거 아닌가요? 홍콩인으로 착각한거겠죠? 아무튼 일본도 어딜 가나 친절한 사람은 친절하지만 재수없을 정도로 재수없는 애들은 재수없네요 서양인들은 우러러 보는거 같고요 너무 재수 없어서 리뷰 처음으로 남겨봅니다

근데 비행기 타고 처음으로 간 해외가 일본인데 그것도 오사카... 오사카 사람들 좀 차가워요... 매우 상처 받았어요.... 그래서 홋카이도로 치유하러 놀러 갔는데 홋카이도 사람들은 불친절한 사람은 못느끼고 오히려 다 친절했어요.

그래도 오사카 맛있는게 많아서 또 갈게요...
