The worst experience Iโve had in Japan. A middle aged man with glasses working there early in the morning was hands down the rudest person I have ever come across in Japan. I greeted him politely to which he didnโt respond (almost dismissed it) to which I proceeded to ask him a question. Before I could barely get a word out he put 2 arms up in a cross shape to which I thought he mustnโt have understood English which is clearly fine, I had the question ready in the translator on my phone for that exact scenario. He then begins to read the question and aggressively puts his arms up in a cross again. I said ok thank you. Out of curiosity I went back into the store to see if they actually sold the item (A4 sheet protectors as I had just used the printer there) and found them. I proceeded to grab them and walked up to the cashier and politely and jokingly waved them and said โfound themโ to which he started muttering something under his breath. I reach into my bag to grab my coin pouch to pay and he starts hurrying me along. I pay him and he pretty much throws my change in the coin tray. I start putting my coin pouch in my bag and not even 5 seconds after purchasing the item he starts hurrying me along again. I turn around and thereโs one person behind me on his phone. He then grabs my documents and aggressively moves them over to the other side and then brushes away with his hand where they were sitting like they were filthy and that I had dirtied his counter (I had just printed them out using their printer lol) A young European couple then walk in and start to ask him if they sell SIM cards which he aggressively does his cross signal barely before the man could get the question out if his mouth. They leave the store. I collect my documents and A4 sheet protectors and start to leave the store, I look back and he makes eye contact with the gentleman who was standing behind me and greets him like they are best friends and share a little chuckle together. I could just sense this strong disdain towards foreigners which is fine I guess as everyone is entitled to think/believe what they want but to have someone like that in a customer service position is a disgrace. Truly terrible experience. Iโm starting to think the low rating for this 7/11 has got a lot to do with that individual. If youโre a foreigner do not come...
ย ย ย Read moreShouldโve read the reviews before going there. AVOID AT ALL COST! We went here after being directed by our hotel staff that we can do luggage forwarding at this 711. The staff were not friendly at all but they told us that we could do the luggage forwarding service at ANY TIME 24 hours.
We decided to deposit our luggage the night before we leave Osaka. The staff with black specs was VERY rude and did not want to let us do the luggage forwarding service. He just ignored us and served other customers in the queue. We tried to ask another staff for help but she told us to come back the next day after 4pm???? It doesnโt make any sense at all. Now we need to scramble and look for an alternative place to do...
ย ย ย Read moreWorst service attitude that I've ever experienced in Japan. What a bad example of Japanese service. I was queuing up in line for luggage delivery and the male staff just threw the luggage delivery paper on the counter top. After I noticed that I've filled up the form wrongly, I requested for a new piece of paper, they just replied "No English" and walked away. Even when I used Google Translate, the staff looked at it and just walked away to attend other customers without replying me. Really a...
