ABC-MART Namba CITY Shop — Local services in Osaka

As other customers experienced in this shop, one of the staff that we tried to get help from was pretty much unapproachable. I don’t know if it was because of his lack of ability to speak in English but he only said one word through the whole conversation to ‘ask’ if we wanted to buy but saying ‘ok?’. After I said that we don’t want it, he took the shoes, did not say anything and left. My brother is 14 and I believe this is such a bad experience for someone so young as him. I can also speak Japanese so I don’t believe that is the issue. 1 star

However, my other brother got help from another guy that spoke English and he was more approachable and seems like he would like to help. 5 star

RUDE STAFF SHOUTING AT CUSTOMERS: NOT WELCOMING TO FOREIGNERS ABC MART GRAND STAGE

Terrible customer service. On Sept 26 around 8 PM, I was trying on the silver Speedcat shoes and couldn’t find any mirror. The male staff didn’t bother to guide me or give any instructions where to go, so I used the nearest mirror inside the fitting room. Out of nowhere, the female staff started shouting at me, even though there was no sign saying shoes weren’t allowed. Very unprofessional, rude, and completely unnecessary.

Other stores like Uniqlo treat customers with respect and guide them properly. ABC Mart should train their staff better. Shouting at paying customers is unacceptable. Your store lost 2 sales of shoes today. Me and my friend didn’t buy...
