Overall a great gym - one of the better equipped Anytimes I trained at in Japan and I would be back here again if I were in Osaka. Good for your semi serious lifter. I’m not a member so was (cash only) 3000 yen for a single session or 8000 yen for a week pass - so can be a bit expensive (you’ll need to present identification too). Showers and toilets were spotless as seems common in gyms in Japan. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Gym is 3 levels - bottom floor has free weight dumbbells in 2kg increments up to 50kg, about 3-4 power racks/half racks, smith, possibly two smith machines, two cable towers (one is life fitness/standard for Anytimes which is good) and adjustable benches (two for free weights area and maybe 1 each for racks, so maybe 7 total). Assisted dip/chin machine.
2nd and 3rd floors have cardio equipment (majority on 2nd). Treadmills, not sure if there’s rowers, possibly elliptical and stepper. 2nd and 3rd floors also have machines. Squat press machine (common at Anytimes), single leg horizontal leg press machine, leg extensions and lying hamstring curls, horizontal dual leg press, incline chest press machine (laying flat to incline bench press), couple of lat pull-down machines, one with a combined seated row, an abductor machine, ab twist machine, two mats where you can train abs or stretch etc. Not much else by way of abdominal equipment - may have had a Swiss ball but can’t remember. Check images for other equipment but there’s quite a bit overall.
Attachments are plentiful. D handles, ropes, bars, Mag Grip attachments for back (big plus), ankle cuff, several weight belts.
Cons: No water fountain so make sure you bring water or you will have to purchase (vending machines in gym I think 2nd floor). 3 levels means lots of walking up and down up to 5-6 flights of stairs for different equipment. No calf machines but this is common throughout Japan - understandably when many have amazing calves genetically. Aircon not on, not all fans on each day so could be incredibly humid even...
Read moreGreat little gym if you are travelling on holidays. 2 levels of cardio and machines, 1 level of weights with free weights, benches, smith machine and squat racks. If you are an international traveller like me, no tattoos allowed (just cover them up) we used bandages like a slip on for your arms/legs that you can get from the drug store (pharmacy). Very clean and bathrooms/showers are separate to use upstairs. Cheap casual visit cost at around 550 yen per visit. Just bring your passport and be sure to go between 11am and 8pm for...
Read moreHands down the nicest any time fitness I've ever been to across 2 continents. The equipment is high quality, the establishment is clean, large variety of equipment spread across 4 or 5 floors. A lot of machines are catering to weight lifting which is exactly what we wanted. 10/10 would come to this location every...
