The graveyard shift front desk staff glare at you like they hate you for coming in and do not welcome you like the day time staff. So your experience would vary depending on which shift of people you walk into. My flight was delayed so I got the graveyard glare. I booked nonsmoking but they put me in smoking. Then they agreed to change the room the next day but there was miscommunication among the staff and it never made it into the memo. Then the front desk denied the change and started to bad mouth me in Japanese condescendingly right to my face not knowing I understood every word. They snickered to each other that I must be lying about the room change just like a typical foreigner 😡, thinking I wouldn’t know they were talking about me. So I let him know exactly when I called and the person I talked to and that I was not a liar. He replied back with a polite, “of course, whatever you say.” Not all of them are snakes, because some were insanely polite but there are snakes so watch out. He might be the only fluent English speaker, but he is polite in English when he trashes you in Japanese. So if you need English speaking staff… you may never know you’re getting trashed...

Room is clean , everything in the room is in the right place and there is fridge , kettle and hair dryer as well as a trouser press machine . Room cleaning only apply if u stay more than 3 night ( cleaning day is 4th, 7th and 10th night) but you get your new towels and trash bin liner hanging outside the door and just leave your trash bin liner outside the door every morning for collection to avoid leaving smells in your room. You can get some tea powder, toothbrush with tooth paste, hair brush , shaver and individual wrap earbud from the amenity bar right next to the lobby lift. There will be slippers and free size sleepwear you can pick it once you get on to your room floor .

Read moreNever again. We stayed at the hotel for four nights, two rooms. The staff were not friendly at all.
The bidet in our room did not work and when we reported it, it was not fixed. In our second room, one of the beds had blood on the sheets, and housekeeping was sent to clean the room and change the sheets.
Housekeeping is not daily. You have to read the fine print on the check in form to find out what day your room will be cleaned. If you leave even a t-shirt on the bed, your sheets will not be changed.
Towels service is you bagging your used towels and placing them outside your room. Fresh towels will be hung on your door handle.
No in-room safe. Minimal amenities: toothbrush, comb, instant tea.
Rooms are very spacious, with plenty of room for two suitcases. Our rooms had a seating area with a small table and a nice city view.
Hotel is a 20-minute to Dotonbori, and not too far from...
