I just went to this store for cleaning my ring and want to buy a new watch for waering to my friend's wedding the day after tomorrow cuz I forgot to wear my watch in Los Angeles. When I went into the store, a local guy coming to welcome and asking me for what he can do for me today. I said could you please cleaning my ring first,he said it gonna be take 5 mins, I said okay and very appreciated! when the guy( I cannot read and type his Japnese name for very sorry) took the ring back to me, a staff,who is girl, was coming beside me and spoke chinese to me; and I dont understand what she was talking about, and interruptted my conversation with the very warm and nice local staff, who has not communication problem with me. I was wondering why she came!!! I have two friends with me, one can speak chinese, the other one is local Japanese. I was trying to saying could you please pack my ring in a zipper bag cuz i dont want to wear right now; when I was trying to say I want to see a suitable watch for my two days later wedding party. The gril( maybe Taiwannese, with a long black hair) was coming and interuptted my conversation with the local staff; and the girl( staff) was repeating said I can not GIVE to you any 'bag'( which was my chinese friend who translated to me); I have asked my friend who does speak chinese, why she was trying to say chinese to me and using the word GIVE? I am not a begger. I am a loyalty Cartier memeber for many years even my family memebers who live in the U.S. This is nerver, ever, I had at Cartier. After she has annoying me, my friend and I have to decide to go to other Cartier store to buy my watch for later coming my friend's wedding. Read moreI went to this store to buy a love ring. The staff behind the counter completely ignored me and offered no assistance. After standing for another few minutes with several staff members who were neither serving other customers nor busying themselves I attempted to approach a saleswoman. She saw me approaching and turned her back on me and faced the wall until I walked away.
After finally getting the attention of a saleswoman I found the service rude, inattentive and almost as though I was a bother to her. She was able to correctly guess ring sizes by just looking at my fingers though, which was quite impressive!
After I handed over my bank card however, the saleswoman finally brandished me with a smile.
I will likely not return to Cartier again as when purchasing luxury goods, one would expect at least...

We have bought watches, our wedding bands and other items from Cartier, but their service after the sale is extraordinary. They are all highly attentive, very polite, and ready with refreshments. The staff make you feel welcome and very comfortable while you are there. Other luxury brands should learn from the old school quality and culture of Cartier....
