TUFFE — Restaurant in Osaka

We came for the purpose of the desserts we saw here on social media, but enjoyed a lunch while we were there.

The meat dish was really nice, bit overpriced for what we had but the beef was cooked perfectly. The spaghetti dish was a cold dish and wasn’t what we expected and unfortunately slightly disappointing on the taste. The bread that came with the dishes were really soft and tasty. Drinks didn’t taste too good either too sweet or too bitter, but that may depend on preference.

However the desserts were really nice, the strawberry dessert was light and creamy, the lemon dessert looked really pretty. Refreshing sorbet and a light crisp meringue.

Would come again for the desserts but not too much...

大丸心斎橋店の7階にある、開放的な空間のレストランです。4人用のテーブル席を基本に、カウンター席等様々な人数にも対応した席の構成となっていますが、個室もパーティションもなく、100人程の人数の貸し切りの大規模パーティ向けに設えたレストラン、という印象です。テラス席もあり、特に晴れた日の夜には心斎橋の繁華街の賑わいを体感しながら食事が出来ると思います。 大勢でわいわい楽しみながら食事をすることを主目的として設えられたレストランであるため、ステーキなどの肉類を主体とした一品料理、お酒類は、特段奇を衒った盛り付けや味付けではありません。とは言えいずれも料理もシンプルながらもしっかり味付けされているため、所謂パーティの添え物として充分に美味しく仕上がっていると思います。パーティではなく少人数での食事場所として利用することが出来ますが、その際の料理も素晴らしく、親しい友人との素敵なひと時を過ごすのにピッタリの空間だと思います。 スタッフも、大人数でのパーティでの客とのコミュニケーションに慣れているからか、終始丁寧な接客対応でした。

This restaurant, located on the 7th floor of Daimaru Shinsaibashi, offers a spacious and open dining environment. While the layout primarily consists of tables for four, it also includes counter seating and other arrangements to accommodate various group sizes. However, there are no private rooms or partitions, giving the impression that the space is designed for large-scale parties or events with up to around 100 guests. There is also terrace seating available, and on clear evenings, you can enjoy a meal while taking in the lively atmosphere of Shinsaibashi’s bustling entertainment district. As the restaurant is designed with lively group gatherings in mind, the menu centers on meat-based à la carte dishes like steaks and a selection of alcoholic beverages. The presentation and seasoning are not overly elaborate or flashy, but each dish is flavorful and well-prepared - perfect for complementing a party setting. While the venue can also be used for more intimate meals with just a few people, the quality of dishes remains excellent, and it provides a pleasant setting for spending time with close friends. The staff were courteous throughout, likely due to their experience in handling large party groups. Overall, this restaurant offers a great balance between a casual party venue and a well-managed...

In general food was alright. Food from the "All day menu" were great (kind of like entrees), the main dishes were alright, some great and some not so much, and the dessert was horrendous. I went for the grapefruit cheesecake and it was not pleasant at all. It did not taste at all like a cheesecake and I had to ask 2 waiters for it before we even received it.... this being more than 30 minutes of just sitting and waiting for dessert. Mind you, we saw the sign that said 90-minutes sitting time.

Do be careful of the glowing reviews here, they give out a free dessert...
