We had lunch here 2025 May 18. The service was prompt; with the oshibiri and tea served immediately. Also, they are very attentive, they pour water to your glass as soon as they notice it’s almost empty.

The eel was great, the color of the caramelized marinade glistened beautifully as you opened the box. The texture was perfect and the flavors were savory yet not overpowering. The rice soaked up the sauces well and the pickles served perfectly complemented the dish.

It was also great that they had information in English and other languages detailing how to eat eel and warning to chew well as it had lots of tiny bones.

I like it when they serve their green tea immediately upon seated. We didn’t take long to order as there is just eel sets. Just a matter of how big portions you would like.

The set is very reasonable price for 2200-2500 set lunch. The eel is average in Jpn but their special I think is adding the rice and condiments to another bowl and add their soup base. It’s taste so flavourful and add another dimension to the way to eat their eel set.

I don’t think u can get this quality and at this price elsewhere. It’s also good location above daimaru shopping mall at shiseibashi area.
