I couldn't deny that I was hesitant to shop here after reading the negative reviews regarding FAs' service attitude. Having experienced a bad service in a Chanel Boutique in Paris before, I perfectly understand how the reviewers felt.
Nonetheless, despite the negative reviews, I was hoping and praying that I didn't have to go through such ordeal. Hence, my family and I decided to visit this boutique while we're in Osaka last November 2024.
There's no queue when we arrived but didn't know that registration was required but fortunately, the FA in-charge of the ushering was helpful enough to assist me with the registration. There's some technical glitch but she was patient and understanding. I had to wait about 20 mins before my turn was up.
Upon receiving the notification on my hp that my turn was due, I quickly made my way there. The same FA ushered me and got another FA to attend to me. This is the part which I want to highlight the most. I had the most patient, kind and understanding FA by the name of REI FUJIKO san. Although I'm rating the whole experience a 4-star, her service deserved a 5-star. She was very obliging and helpful throughout. As expected, a lot of the bags that I wanted to get were out of stock. After perusing a number of bags she patiently took out to let me see, I managed to find one that's really gorgeous and decided to purchase it. While she was processing the payment, we were served some drinks. I didn't even get any drinks at Chanel Paris despite making a purchase!
Unfortunately, there's an issue with my card so I told her that I was going to sort it out with my credit card company and would return the next day. She gave me her name card and even wrote down the bag codes and prices. However, due to shortage of time as we had an activity planned the next day and it was also our last day in Osaka, sadly, I didn't managed to visit the store. I wanted to send her a text message to explain the situation but her number was not in WhatsApp and I would have incurred a cost if I were to send via normal text. Hence, I wasn't able to do that but I hope she would read this review that I really had the intention of purchasing the bag and would like to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience that I've caused her.
The reason why I rated a 4-star was due to the limited items that were available at the store, customers weren't allowed to take pictures of the bags and also, when there's an issue with my card, an FA, who's able to speak English, told me in an unfriendly manner and with a stern face, that there's a problem with my card. Well, I knew that and I was also very frustrated that that happened but she could have just informed me politely.
If I ever had the chance to return to the store one day, I would request to be served by Rei-san again, if possible. For those who wish to visit the store, please ask for this FA. You won't be disappointed with her service.

Read moreThe female clerk "Iw....to" was polite at the beginning. Then, I realised that she takes out bags according to price starting from highest, before she suddenly remembers lower priced items as the initial bags were too big for my requirements.
When I decided on the purchase, she went aside to pack while we sat around to prepare for payment. After we paid, she handed me the bag and wished me well (hence the 1 star).
Upon returning to the hotel room, I took out the box and didn't see the signature camellia flower. When I opened the box, I only saw a black dust bag and in it, thankfully, was the bag I paid for, but semi-wrapped. The box was also not a standard one with magnetic closure, but more like a box for sunglasses. FYI, my bag is white in color. I do not appreciate it being in a black dust bag without tissue wrapping. There was no standard of care in wrapping, no extra tissue paper to fill the box and no signature camellia flower.
This is by far the worst packaging I’ve ever received from a Chanel purchase, and it is currently supposed to come in a special Christmas gift wrap.
Please do check your box content before you leave this store, especially if you are attended to by a lady "I.....to".
Also, no pictures allowed otherwise a stern-looking lady will chide you, so do explain yourself if you have to take your phone out to text or make a call.

I was going to buy a new purse last month when I was there. When I walked in, there was a young (lady) SA came over immediately and asked if she could help anything. When I asked her to show me one purse, she said it's not for sale. Then, I kept walking around and tried to find my dream bag. I did ask if the black color option of two purses available but she said no. After shopping for 5 mins, she typed in Google translate and showed me if I could leave with my kids from the store. My kids were quietly reading a book without making any distraction and they were not talking at all. I immediately felt unwelcome and left immediately. She ruinned my day of shopping. I didn't even have more than 10 mins to make a decision. She is just unprofessional. And yes, she is a trainee too. I would go to another store if I need a new purse.
