Using the translation app, she ensured that we understood the product details, which greatly enhanced our shopping experience.

Namiko was patient and allowed us ample time to consider our options without any pressure. She provided us with a card containing the details of the goods we were interested in, making it easy for us to reflect on our choices. If we decided to purchase, we simply needed to show the card, and the staff would assist us further.

Additionally, we were interested in another product available at a nearby ALLU store, just 5 minutes away. Namiko kindly directed us to the location and gave us another card with the product details. When we arrived at the other store and presented the card, the staff promptly retrieved the product for us to check. To clarify: the watch stops running after a short time. Two days after the purchase, and before leaving Japan, we returned to the store to seek an explanation or possibly a refund. Unfortunately, it felt like the staff either didn’t fully understand or didn’t take our concerns seriously. They simply rewound the watch—something we had already done ourselves—and sent us on our way with the same issue.

Now that we’re back home in Hong Kong, we consulted a specialist who confirmed there is indeed a mechanical issue. Some internal parts need to be replaced, and the cost of the repair is significant.
