I had a really frustrating and disappointing experience at an arcade recently, and I feel people should know about it.After several tries at the claw machine, I finally managed to grab a toy and pull it all the way to the exit chute. It got stuck right at the edge – the toy was practically falling out. It was clearly already won. I didn’t try to force anything or cheat – it simply jammed right at the prize opening.I politely asked the staff to help me get the toy, thinking this would be a quick and simple fix. Instead, they started yelling at me, telling me to “try again.” That made absolutely no sense – how can I try again to win a toy that’s already halfway out of the machine? It was physically stuck right at the opening!What made things even worse was that other people in the arcade saw what happened and were clearly concerned too. Some even tried to help me figure out how to get the toy. Everyone around could see it was unfair – the machine had clearly failed, and the staff were being completely unreasonable.Despite everything, I still wasn’t given the toy that I fairly won. The staff treated me like I was doing something wrong, even though I was calm and just asking for help.This kind of treatment is unacceptable. If a machine malfunctions and a toy gets stuck at the exit, the right thing to do is to help the customer – not shout at them and refuse to acknowledge the issue. And if people around you are noticing how unfair it is, that should tell you something.I won’t be returning to this arcade, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who expects basic fairness, customer respect, or...
Read moreI got a big plushy with the whole head and body over the hole, but the hole was too small for it to drop out. Got a staff, and he said it was not considered a 'Get'. He put the plushy with the head hanging on the edge, which was in a worse position than before.
He 'taught' me to grab the whole head and the plushy will drop out. I wasted two more coins to do what he advised, but the claw was too weak to lift the plushy.
I finally did it my way and used one claw to push on the head of the plushy. It dropped into the hole, but the plushy was stuck in the middle of the hole, completely clear of the barrier. The hole was just too small! The staff was still making gestures that he thought it was not a 'Get'. After some discussions, he finally gave in.
The staff was so poorly trained that customers won't win a prize even though it was completely in the middle of the hole, with no parts of the plushy above...

Tonight, I went to the 3rd floor with my friend to watch the anime Figure. We met a very polite female salesperson. I took a figure to ask her a question. She was so rudely snatched it back, didn’t answer us questions and then drove us out from the area of selling the scope of Figure. We felt very bad. It’s so odd to meet these salesmen with such poor service mind in Japan. Possibly it was close to the closing-time. ( around 8:55pm and the closing time is 9pm) but she shouldn’t be so rude to customers . She may tell us to leave gently and we would absolutely follow instructions. But now we have hard-feelings! We won’t come back and won’t suggest anyone shops at that...
