I am so so happy to stumble across this store. The store is located in the famous 'kitchen street' and I'm glad I went through the whole stretch before deciding on this store. This store is one of the biggest one and even though prices are slightly expensive at first, the brand and the quality is very good. You should go in and see what you like and judge them yourself.

My partner came to this store to buy knifes 2 times before, always to this store only, and this is my first time today. Now I understand why he likes this store 🫶🏻❤️

The knifes looks very very good. I brought my knife from another store because of the famous brand but I went to this store for knife protection, knife bag and knife sheath. They didn't discriminate me and still helped me regardless.

I am very happy to meet Inoue Shouki-San, he is very good in English and was so friendly and nice, I didn't felt scared trying to ask for help 🌸🫶🏻 He would prioritise usefulness over price selling and honestly, the products in the store are just very useful and good for professional use.

Overall, it was a great experience with a single caveat.

My group and I came looking for good knives in the lower price bracket. The Japanese staff were very helpful and accommodating despite the language barrier and our limited budget. They taught us about the uses and maintenance requirements of the steels and guided us towards our choices. They were a bit amused (we were utter beginners in a professional knife shop, after all), but their respectful attitude convinced us, and we ended up buying multiple items per person.

Unfortunately, one of the English-speaking staff members gave us quite the snarky answer when we asked him about the cheaper options, which we considered uncalled for. It almost made us take our business elsewhere, but the patience and professionalism of his colleagues made up for his condescension.

Wow! What a wonderful experience! If you are English or Spanish speaking, definitely ask for Chris. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, helpful and made the entire process so enjoyable! We ended up picking up 3 knives - customized by length/type/steel/function for 3 different people. I have zero knowledge/experience with knives and Chris walked us through the entire process and kept us within a reasonable budget. They offer engraving in Japanese, English, Hanja and even Hangul. The engraving took less than a minute for each knife (we only put one character on each) and we were allowed to watch it happen. It was hand engraved with a hammer and chisel too - just an amazing experience overall.

This is the number one knife shop for Japanese people and I think quickly going to become the number one knife shop...
