Ahhh - my home away from home in Namba. Osaka was our home base for the first leg of the trip. To be honest, I didn't see many reviews online since it has just opened in April 2025 however I'm so glad to trust my gut.
Location:
Steps away from Namba station and Namba city and very easy to walk to Dotonbori. Great food everywhere. It's lively but safe. I even sent my 9 year old around the corner to the convenience store for some goodies on her own.
Room:
We thoroughly enjoyed our room. Layout had a kitchenette when you first walk in and a separate room for a bidet toilet, separate room for shower/bath and sink. 2 Lofted style bunk beds and two beds on the bottom. Beds were so comfortable. Cleaning occurs every 3 days but we were able to manage fine. Size of the room was huge for Japan standards. Kitchenette had utensils, pots, induction oven and microwave (fresh sponge to wash your dishes) and your standard electric water heater...great for bringing back items from the combini.
Amenities: They have a great amenities station near the front desk that include qtips, hair ties, shaver (toothbrushes are found in room). Laundry is on the first floor and it had an app so you can pay with apple pay (win for me since we wanted to save our cash due to the credit card issue). Rooftop - small but colorful and a great view. Paid drink machines are available as well. But my favorite? The ice machine and free coffee for iced coffees even coming back from a long hot day, it was always there meeting me.
Service: I saved the best for last. The people at the front saved me! I erroneously forgot my credit card back in the States and I had my company ship a new one to to the hotel. Of course, tracking said it would get to me after we left. The staff showed concern, gave me options on how I can get it to the next destination and was so helpful and happy to let me know that the package actually arrived on time and was delivered in hand with huge smiles. They also offer luggage forwarding service (payment in cash) which was great. Thank you to the team handholding...
Read moreMy three best friends and I reserved a room for five nights at &Here OSAKA NAMBA in late May-2025. In truth, we pushed our luck by reserving the hotel because there wasn't much information available for our assessment since it is only opened in April 2025. We were delighted when we entered the room.
The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and has a well-equipped kitchenette with a great layout. The bathroom and toilet are separate rooms. I particularly like the bathroom because the water flow from the shower head is powerful. Unlike some hotels, the water flow is feeble, or the host's position is not adjustable. The open roof top offers a breathtaking view of Osaka city. The hotel also provides high-quality complimentary coffee (hot and iced).
The train station, Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori, and Ura Namba are all within walking distance of the hotel. There are numerous restaurants and entertainment options near the hotel.
The staff is really friendly and helpful. My friend's ankle was injured when she arrived at the Osaka. The personnel provided an ice pack and were constantly checking her condition. They even suggested a few local supermarkets for us to visit, which resulted in some savings (the products were less expensive than at the mall).
I will undoubtedly book &Here OSAKA NAMBA on my future visit to Osaka.
Last but not least, I heartily recommend this accommodation.
Friendly suggestion: It is recommended to include a sponge holder and a draining/drying rack...
Read moreSince &Here was brand new I was a bit apprehensive about how the stay would be, but I'm happy to report it's a great hotel for families and the location is incredible. Being close to Namba station and Nippombashi station is ideal. We were able to visit Kyoto and Nara using the local trains.
The rooms were spacious and beds comfy. Bathroom and toilet were fine. The hotel is somewhat no frills, so don't expect a restaurant or room service. They replace towels and take out the trash daily but only make the beds once every 3 days. Not sure if they vacuumed/swept the floors during our stay. They have a nice laundry room and a water machine to fill your room pitcher. Also they have a free coffee machine in first floor along with vending machines.
The staff is very nice and always greeted us when entering or exiting the main lobby. Once we left our room key in the room and the gentleman at the front desk was happy to open the door for us. The price is great relative to nearby competitors, I saved a bundle staying here!
Overall I highly recommend &Here and would gladly...
