This is the best restaurant in Takamatsu, and would probably hold its own in any city.
The owner got his experience in Italy and sticks to the methods he learned there religiously. I've heard he has his old Italian masters come in to train his staff yearly. It's a brick oven, and the pizza is amazing (having recently won 4th in the world in an international competition held in Italy).
I love their anti-pasta appetizer and more people should order it. It varies with what they've found in the markets, and due to being Japan, you see many incarnations of Japanese vegetables being done in Italian styles, which is great, along with more familiar stuff.
The pastas are all excellent as well. My wife and I truly miss the place. I can't easily find this kind of quality in America, and it's better than many Italian restaurants in Italy.
