Having visited this place for many years before ghe pandemic. This review refers to 2023 April, as Japan enters a new normal post pandemic.
They will check your temperature (your wrist), and mask wearing is no longer compulsory. Almost all the guys there don't wear masks.
Entrance is 2700 yen for 1w hours, 10 yen coin to store your footwear. You'll be given a plastic bag that contains one yukata with a belt, one big and small green towel. They must be returned upon check out.
Clientele ranging from 30s to 50s, I'd say 60 at maximum. This place attracts middle-aged locals that are muscular, chubby, and bear type. Very few foreigners come here although they are welcome here. Actions are best past midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and in the afternoon of Saturdays and Sundays.

3000 yen is a pretty hefty price to pay. You do get two towels and a robe, plus you can stay for 12-14 hours. You can even sleep there. So I guess I understand why it's so expensive.
The clerk was helpful. Dutiful.
Maintenance was doing their best to keep the place clean, which I really appreciated!
I went on a weekday eve. Very empty. Apparently, it's busier on the weekends. It has potential.
2 Tanning beds, showers, 3 tubs, 1 sauna, 1 mist sauna, and a couple of other fun dark rooms. All on one floor. The rest of the floors are dorm-style rooms to sleep.
Cleanliness is... questionable. I was actually pretty grossed out, but it wasn't TOO terrible.
It's pretty old. Nothing glamorous by any means, but I guess it gets the job done.
I came for the experience and honestly, I think I'm all set. No need to come back.

You enter by climbing the front stairs to reach the reception area on the second floor, where you place your shoes in a locker for 10 yen. Then you pay at the front desk for entry to the sauna, which costs 2700 yen for 12 hours. The lockers for your clothes and maybe a small bag are located on then same floor as the reception desk. If you have a suitcase, there are a limited number of large lockers available.
