I was really excited to try this café but was so disappointed and quite appalled with the service. As soon as I entered, the waiter asks me if I'd like to eat at the café or take out. I wanted to eat in and I asked if I could be seated. He tells me I could sit anywhere, but first I should go to the till and order. As soon as I ordered and paid he tells me to sit at the counter. At this point I'm like okay, I'll just sit down. Then he tells me the seating time is just an hour. Why didn't they mention this before.
Then the waiter comes up after serving my coffee and starts to clean the tiny counter seat next to mine. Without even a bother he starts spraying alcohol, right next to my coffee.
And finally at the end, before my time was even up, he comes and starts sighing next to my seat.
I have never written a review before let alone one making a complaint, but All Seasons Coffee - please be nicer to your customers, or hire new staff. Tokyo has incredible coffee culture - what a disgrace.
In reply to what the owner wrote me Please don't treat me like I'm an illiterate person. This ENTIRE CONVERSATION with your staff took place in Japanese. Indeed, I am part Japanese, kindly stop insinuating my communication skills were a problem. 日本語を話せます。
Decent cafés in Tokyo will announce much before you order your coffee, the seating time. People in Japan are kind and honest, and I've lived in Tokyo 6 years. Please don't dilute Tokyo's wonderful coffee culture with excuses for your terrible service.
No normal staff-san sprays alcohol that goes into my cup. Japan has such polite and wonderful hospitality they would let you know before they started spraying. Please dont insult Japanese culture with your poor service.
If it so difficult to comprehend and digest customer feedback that is honest, I'm wondering why are you even in the food service industry? This is not an affront to your coffee or pudding, which is great. This is me as a customer and consumer saying, I deserve better. I'm really disappointed that you couldn't even recoginze the basics.
I'm sure your staff is working very hard, and my heart goes out to them. But I'm unsure as to what the correlation between working hard and deceiving your customers are re:seating time? Is that a justification or did you just decieve me?
Lastly, of course I'll find a place or 喫茶店 that will be amazing.. There is place for everyone one in this awesome city. But, like I said, your excuses for service that is way below par will remain unsatisfactory to me and I will absolutely...

First, my girlfriend and I waited 15 minutes until we got a seat. The table was already free after 5 minutes, but only cleared up much later. When we then wanted to order at the counter and only I wanted a cappuccino, the staff wanted my girlfriend to order something too. After a short back and forth, however, the staff agreed to just one order. So I paid and we sat down. Actually, the staff had nothing to do, yet they didn't start preparing the cafe. After about 8 minutes, my girlfriend decided to order a cookie. Now the same staff as before said she had to order more. All of a sudden he insisted and would not serve us otherwise. An absolute cheek. I then demanded that he pay us back the money from the cappuccino and we leave. I also said that such service was not acceptable. The staff did not respond and made no effort to apologize. So in the end we waited 25 minutes for nothing. I have never experienced such bad service in a cafe. I would describe myself as a coffee nerd, which puts a lot of value on good coffee and also knows it well. So I can drink good coffee at home. So when I go to a cafe, service plays an important role and you should feel comfortable next to a good product. Apparently they didn't understand what makes a good cafe experience. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the quality of the products, since we didn't receive any. I would not willingly visit this store a second time. In Tokyo, there are enough other coffee shops, where in addition to the coffee also the...
Read moreGreat coffee roasted and served here. A good selection of beans from Africa and central America at the time I visited. Coffee is roasted on a 2kg Diedrich roaster ensuring fresh brew daily. The Kenya brew is light tasted with a fruity note reminding of its neighbours Ethiopia coffee taste. The star of the place however is the caramel pudding unfortunately and you'll have to queue a rather long time to be able to have a seat and enjoy a cuppa. The homemade Pudding is nonetheless delicious and generously sized. Note there is no need to queue if you want to take away a cuppa. Pudding has the be eaten on-site. Some small cakes like cheese cake and pastries like pain au chocolat and muffins are also sold beside coffee beans. The staff is super welcoming and this gives a great vibe...
