On May 5, 2025, my mother and I visited Bic Camera at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi after my Japanese husband confirmed the availability of a Fujifilm camera. Despite speaking Japanese, we were treated coldly and disrespectfully by a staff member who showed clear bias against foreigners. After agreeing to pay full tax and not use duty-free, the staff suddenly canceled our purchase, wrongly accusing us of reselling. No proof, no apology—just discrimination. 以前伺った際に、一眼レフカメラ担当の男性店員がとても丁寧に接客をしてくださったので、半年ぶりに立ち寄りました。 その店員は本日はおらず、日曜日だったせいか、カメラ売り場は誰もおらず、レジの周辺にスタッフが集中していました。

購入する商品がもう決まっていましたので、半ば購入するつもりでレジに並びました。 ポイント付与について仕組みがよくわからなかったので、質問をしましたが20代の店員から、捲し立てるような説明をされ、不快な思いをしました。

こちらが少し曖昧な質問すると、 『まだ私が説明しているので、途中で口は挟まないでもらえますか』。と20代の若い男性店員。 小売業の接客として基本的な精神がずれていませんかね。

この店舗はビックカメラの中でも先進的な店舗だと聞いています。 オープン時には日経テレ東などの経済ニュースでも大きく取り上げられていました。 おそらくは、とても優秀な人材が集まっている店舗だと思いますが、、。 それがゆえに、このような発言がされてしまうことがとても残念です。

富裕層向けの手厚いサービスを行うのであれば、消費者である我々の期待値を超えるホスピタリティーを備えてください。
