Update (as of Sept 2024):

Returned to this outlet as I was in the area in the afternoon and I have to say the service improved tremendously since there was no queue. I bought two financiers, one croissant and one madeline and all were scrumptious.

I will come back to buy more items.

Came by to get some croissants around 11:15am and luckily, they weren’t sold out yet. There is a queue to pay and the customer service person didn’t inform me when she handed me the number…I went to the counter to pay but a rude local man stood next to me in a brisque manner, cut me off and handed over his number and card.

It turned out I was the rude one for cutting the line when it was actually his turn to pay.

Please inform your foreign customers your store policy so we don’t end up looking like uncouth fools.

On another note: the financiers were buttery and tasty.

Our family has been enjoying their delicious cookies for as long as we've been visiting Tokyo. However, during our recent visit, we encountered some challenges with the customer service. When I entered the shop, I wasn't greeted or assisted, and when I tried to select the boxes of cookies carefully from the shelves, the lady at the counter seemed impatient and snapped at my little brother and I. Despite my efforts to communicate my order politely in Japanese, English, and even with gestures, I felt the attitude and treatment were disappointing. Fortunately, the second cashier was much friendlier. Overall, it was a disappointing experience considering our excitement to purchase the cookies. It's important for businesses to provide consistent and welcoming customer service to all customers, regardless of their background.

In conclusion the service was cold and distant despite us spending $400...

Though I like everything butter, their baked goods that I’ve tried (madeleines, financiers, big square cookies, pastries, slice of pound cake)seem to have only one note: butter. The experience of eating them become a little boring. Maybe I shouldn’t buy so many! : )) There were no lines when I got there in the late afternoon. BTW Google Maps took me around and around blocks before I could find the place. I think it’s because of the high-rise buildings inhibiting the signals. I didn’t double check my orders and found out later that the clerk there had added in the bag a tin box of the big cookies I didn’t order. I’ll return to buy a slice of their chocolate...
