A16 — Restaurant in Tokyo

Food was delicious! I got the pasta meal set, which included salad, dessert, and a drink. Size and quality made it well worth the price. The view from the terrace seat was nice and the heaters kept it from getting too cold, although I definitely kept my winter coat on.

A lot of the staff were very friendly and attentive, but a few of them could've been a little nicer. None of them were rude or anything, and it was incredibly busy that day, but my main server pretty much just dropped things off at my table as she passed by without saying much, or anything at all. Had a very difficult time flagging her down, but again, it was VERY busy and I was seated in a less convenient location for her to see, so take that with a grain of salt.

The size of the green leaves are just imperfect to put into your mouth without trouble. I saw other guests struggling with the same problem... I left no time to eat the greens when the meatballs were served immediately, so I had to send them back and ask for later delivery. When the plate came back, the food was not warm anymore... :(( I ordered beverage without ice but was delivered with ice... :(( From the beginning I asked for window seat but I was refused. I sat at next table near the window but NOBODY was sit the window for the whole time, so when I was about to leave, I asked why I was not served with the window seat... I have got no understandable answer... It was definitely my first and last...

I'd love to review their food, but we never received all the food that we ordered.

6 of us went to this restaurant last night. (We were visiting Tokyo from the US). We ordered 2 plates of bread, 2 salads, 1 appetizer, 2 different pizzas, 2 pasta and 1 seafood dish and 5 drinks (3 glasses of wine, 1 coke, 1 sparkling water). We received the drinks, salads, appetizer, 1 pizza and pasta, but the other pasta, pizza and the seafood dish didn't come out for over an hour. All the tables around us who were seated after us received their food, finished eating them, and some of them left the restaurant, but our food didn't come out. When I asked the young female server about the remaining food that we ordered, she said that the food's not coming out because they are busy. (This excuse didn't make sense because other tables got their food promptly.)

We had to leave because it was getting late, and we asked the server to cancel the food that we didn't receive. The server told us through the Google translator that she will cancel the order that didn't come out and she brought the bill and I paid using a credit card. After I received the final bill that was paid, I noticed that the server didn't remove the items that we didn't receive. While I was reviewing the receipt, a male staff came over voluntarily and looked over the receipt and realized that the bill was incorrect and he refunded the original charge and helped me with the correct bill.

I got a feeling that the restaurant may be discriminating against Asians who are not Japanese. After reading other reviews written by non Japanese tourist, I am convinced that this is the case. So, if you are an Asian foreigner looking in to going to this restaurant, be aware.

여기에 저녁 먹으러 6명이서 갔었는데 몇가지 메인 음식이 주위에 우리보다 늦게 앉은 테이블 음식이 다 나오고 다 먹고 식당을 떠난후에까지 나오지 않았습니다. 너무 오래걸려서 서버한테 음식이 나올거냐고 물어보니 식당이 바빠서 늦어지고 있다는 대답을 들었어요. 안나온 음식은 켄슬하고계산서를 달라고 했고 계산을 했는데 안나온 음식까지 다 합처저서 계산서가 나왔어요. 메니저로 보이는 남자 서버가 계산서를 고처주긴 했지만 일본 여행의 마지막날의 저녁 식사로 같이 갔던 저와 일행들은 아직도 배고픈 상태로 식당을 나와야 했습니다. 이 식당에 가실 계획이시라면 이런일...
