FREAK'S STORE Shibuya — Local services in Tokyo

This is the worst experience so far in Japan. I went to the store last Saturday evening and bought one black sweater and a blue denim cap hat. When I double checked the amount and found the figure was inaccurate after tax waiver and discount from their mobile app membership applied, I told him whether it was a right amount and he carelessly said it was correct. When he completed the payment using my credit card, another staff stepped in and said the amount was mistakenly charged higher. They did not apologize and claimed to have a refund for me. However, when I checked the mobile app of their brand the same set of items was charged three times in the history. I called to my bank to see if they have a chargeback for me but sadly none. This is so dishonest, if it's not just careless and unprofessional. Now I have to go through a dispute with credit card company and it costs me way more time and cost than expected to settle this. Was looking at the reviews while I was in the store and was very surprised by the comments. Every staff member I came across today were helpful and friendly. Despite my small purchase, multiple staff members still proactively helped us with membership registration, tax free, and looked for new stock from the back without us asking.
