Aoyama Elysion House — Restaurant in Tokyo

Absolutely stunning restaurant in terms of grandeur and decor with high ceilings and chandilers. Not much in terms of view as the restaurant is at ground level but the impression is more on their interiors than exteriors. Location can be difficult but their website gives detailed explanation with photos of landmarks. Tables are well spaced giving decent privacy between customers, position of seating also well thought out with all customers facing in the one direction so you only see the back of other customers which I personally found a nice touch. Food though was standard with no surpasses though their carbonara was the most memorable. Would recommend going for a course than ala carte to make things simpler and because ala carte options are normally 2-ppl portions. ランチ「Bコース」4,800円 アペタイザー・パスタ・メイン・おかわり自由なデザートワゴンの全4品。 ■アペタイザー 当日は、塩麹でマリネしたカンパチを炙り、西京味噌を加えた山芋とろろソースをかけたカルパッチョ。 周りにはアクセントとしてごま油をパウダー状にして散らしたもの。 和テイストでななかな良いお味。

■パン 甘めのロールパンと全粒粉パンの2種とオリーブオイル。 おかわり可だが、おかわり自由なデザートワゴンを考慮すると…。

■パスタ アーリオオーリオ・トマトソース・カルボナーラの3品からトマトソースの「スパゲッティ 燻製したムール貝のプッタネスカ」をオーダー。 事前に辛いのNGと伝えていたので、プッタネスカながら唐辛子の辛みが無い分、ケッパーとニンニクの刺激があり、燻製したムール貝とブラックオリーブも相応に投入されている。 コース内のパスタなのでボリュームはそれほどないが、若干濃いめの味付けで満足感あり。

■メイン 鮮魚料理・肉料理・鴨胸肉のロティの3品から「鴨胸肉のロティと季節野菜 5種のスパイスで」をオーダー。 柔らかな肉質に旨味がのったジューシーな鴨胸肉を、脇に添えたマデラソースと五香粉的中華スパイスと絡めて頂くと、肉料理の固定メニューだけあって間違いない美味さ。 季節野菜は秋らしくキノコたっぷり。

■デザート 当日は以下の10種が盛られたデザートワゴンから好きなだけ。 ・シトロンとバニラのムースケーキ ・キャラメルとヘーゼルナッツのムースケーキ ・ラズベリーとピスタチオのムースケーキ ・ピスタチオのシュークリーム ・バニラのムース＆いちごのジュレ ・バラとフランボワーズのマカロン ・バニラとオレンジのタルト ・ミニフィナンシェ ・シナモンクッキー ・ココアクッキー 10種全て盛り付けてもらって頂くと、特筆するほどではないが、ハズレが無くどれも美味しい。 ムースケーキはどれも濃厚なので、全種類食べるとおかわりする余力が…。
