Very kind staff at this store, I highly recommend visiting.

The store is laid out in such a way that you can try on sample garments to decide if you want to buy the sewing patterns. The designer / pattern maker is on site and will help you decide the best fit and cut for your body.

There is a section of samples that corresponds to books that she is selling. It is a very good deal to try on these samples first because the price of a book is less than a single pattern on its own.

All of the designs are kawaii. I asked the designer / pattern maker to sign my book and she did! Then of course we took a photo with her and her staff because they were so incredibly kind!!

This Japanese clothing pattern shop is a little off the beaten path. They design and print clothing patterns. Their interesting patterns are conveniently scored and semi-pre-cut outside the seam allowance. For this reason you need to choose the pattern that is your size. The shopkeepers have some English language skills which was very helpful. They also have a selection of clothing made from the patterns so that you can try them on to confirm your size. Very helpful shop ladies! Be aware that the pattern instructions are only in Japanese....
