We had a wonderful experience perming and cutting my hair with Wataru and my husband had his hair cut with Ino.

Wataru is definitely a highly experienced expert in this area, I won’t look for other places on this planet. He insists on applying safe product with the appropriate method, and focus on accomplishing goals of the customers without compromising the style. And if you have done perming elsewhere, you would know it is impossible to keep the hair with strong curls while it is still shinny, bouncing and looking healthy or leave no smells. Because of Wataru’s insights and methods, my hair didn’t get any damage at all, given how fragile my hair is!!!I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a long- term hair expert or just want to try something new, my family will definitely come back here again!! Ps: it’s a cozy salon, and the atmosphere is super friendly here....

I had an amazing experience at Mellow Shibuya! I came in with no idea about my style (basically my whole life), but Ninna helped me find a look that I actually really like for the first time. She was incredibly patient and professional, and the haircut turned out better than I imagined. The hair wash and head massage were also a lifesaver after my 14-hour flight to Japan—so relaxing!

My girlfriend did curling with Wataru, and he gave her a beautiful style while taking great care of her. Even though they didn’t speak much English, they helped us a lot and made the whole experience super comfortable.

Wataru-San and Niina and their team did such a lovely job on both my fiancé and I’s hair! They made sure that we were comfortable during the whole experience and were receptive to what we were looking for in our hairstyles. Their team worked quickly and efficiently, but didn’t rush. Both of our cuts came out so beautifully. It’s a shame we won’t be able to come back for touch ups once we leave Japan 😭 . They also gave us great recommendations for styling products while here in Japan.

The interior of the salon is so beautiful and comfortable. Lots of natural light and lovely plants that adorn the corners of the shop.
