The staff does not speak English so don’t be offended at them! Use Google translate to communicate with them if you need something. Yes, they are apathetic but you would be too, if you have to deal with childish customers who only come to laugh at sex toys and hit each other with the products. Be quiet and respectful.
Store review:
Pro: Various selection of different types of sex toys. Great for shoppers who can’t purchase goods online and prefer to buy it in the store/last minute. There are some sample products of dildos, vibrators, fleshlights, lingerie, etc. so you can see the shape and touch the material more clearly (please use the sanitizer in the store). This is a very convenient feature because most stores don’t have sample products out for display. Some products like vibrators are also charged so you can turn them on. A lot of customers who visit the store so don’t feel embarrassed about entering/leaving. They have some niché products that you can’t find online.
Cons: Very narrow and small despite having 7 floors. It’s quite difficult to navigate the aisles if someone is in front of you. Bring a lot of time and patience if you’re looking to buy something. Online stores will have a wider selection of generic sex toys but this store is a great physical store. If you come here to buy hentai products like books then it’s in the basement floor but the selection is very small. There’s another store in Akihabara that has a bigger selection.
Feedback for the store: It would be great if all the electric sample products would be charged and working. A lot of dildos, vibrators, rings, etc. were not charged and didn’t function when turned on so it was difficult to see how good the vibration/function is. Thank you for selling products from 奥さまの回復術, it was a positive surprise!
I have been to dozens of sex stores in different countries and i think this has a very good selection. I went in there with zero expectations thinking it’s probably another generic store but ended up buying some products that I hadn’t...
Read moreLargest adult shop in Akihabara. With a total of 5 floors (and one underground), you can practically find everything related or in hentai. The building itself is quite small so expect the aisles to be a bit narrow. Don't be afraid to go to every floor, because noone will question your preferences. The quality is great and there is everything starting from soft to hard and smooth to rigid products so please do take your time.
Women: Everything from dildos to vibrators, even some kinky costumes and bdsm gear here and there. They sell quite long and thick dildos for a fair price and great quality. They have great anal beads. Men: Because the Japanese sex toy industry is targeted towards men the variety is huge. If fleshlights are your thing, try the Japanese ones because they are made with precision. Lube is sold cheap here and they smell better too. They do sell prostate massagers and some anal equipment for the curious. They also sell hentai "body" parts. (You'll understand once you go there) Costumes: Everything you'd see from a hentai tag list is sold here, period. VR: Sold on the first floor, they even sell DVD's.
They have an...
Read moreI'm not sure Barb below me has any clue where she was. For any westerner , the concept of a 9 story adult's shop can be a little wild or maybe even uncomfortable depending on how you grew up. To that effect as well, the Japanese are very open about both taboo and general adult entertainment meaning you will find things here you would never, ever see in a western shop. Women are allowed on all floora and the top 2 or 3 are majorily lingerie and costumes meant for women. The below floors pace out depending on gender and also fetish. People of all walks of life and age come here and it's an interesting look at a different culture. Don't come here being a jerk or laughing loudly or criticizing someone's culture- just because we are westerners doesn't mean OUR way is better or OUR practices make me sense. You decided to fly to Japan, not the other way around. So, understand rules and standards are different, and enjoy yourself. Don't be the person who sets a bad perception of tourists for the...
