This is a real and in-depth review of my experience at Venus Spa. Long story short, our trip here was incredibly unpleasant. I would not return or recommend. Here is why:
I recently visited this spa and had a highly unsatisfactory experience that I feel compelled to share and warn future clients about. As someone who gets Thai massages regularly and also values professional service and cleanliness in wellness establishments, I share my concerns regarding my recent visit.
Firstly, I was disappointed to find that there are zero massage tables in in your facility. They are all "massage beds." (Standard massage tables are the ones where you are able to lay down and place your head where there is a hole which allows you to breath). This was a notable difference from the standard massage experience from normal massage places. So imagine you're laying on a futon and u have to turn your head either to a side to be "comfortable". My back hurt more AFTER the massage because of this.
Moreover, the shower room used for the package which includes a body scrub had visible mold, which is concerning from both a hygiene and customer experience perspective. Cleanliness is paramount in any spa setting.
Equally troubling and disturbing were the unprofessional behaviors exhibited by the massage therapists. During the session, inappropriate comments were made which made me exceptionally uncomfortable. (Yes, there is a slight language barrier, but that's not the problem.) The problem is that it's unnecessary and unprofessional to tell a client "you have a sexy body" when you are naked four times. At first it's a compliment (sure), but after that, it just makes someone feel uncomfortable. During the body scrub, the therapist's technique, Aileen, also had uncomfortable "techniques" like going very near to my private areas. Not just during the scrub bath, but also afterwards when drying. I ended up just taking the towel from her so I can dry myself because she was near my private area yet again.
Regrettably, the boundary of professionalism was crossed by the other massage therapist when she insinuated the offering of a "happy ending" to my partner during the time he was getting a body scrub.
Furthermore, I observed one of the massage therapists having her phone in our massage area/session, which I found to be a breach of professional conduct, especially considering the intimate nature of the services provided. If it was used for a timer, I highly recommend buying a timer instead.
Additionally, it became apparent that both massage therapists lacked the skill to identify and address muscle knots, which is the whole reason for going to a massage spa. They don't ask which areas you would like to focus on and they use very light pressure.
Lastly, I want to warn you that the high reviews of this place is fabricated because they bribe you to write a 5-star review before leaving.
I hope the owners/massage therapists do better because this was so disappointing to write. I hope that this establishment will take my concerns seriously and implement necessary changes to ensure a more positive, professional, and comfortable experience for...
Read moreI was lucky to have both Yaya and Emy, and they are absolute professionals. Emy has a deep, intuitive understanding of pressure points and muscle tension — she knew exactly where I needed attention without me even saying a word. Yaya has incredibly soothing hands and a gentle strength that melts away stress like magic. Their techniques combined traditional Thai massage with modern precision — both relaxing and therapeutic.
After the session, I felt lighter, looser, and completely recharged. Whether you're dealing with tight muscles, back pain, or just need some serious relaxation, ask for Yaya and Emy — you won’t regret it!

Read moreMy husband and I had a couples massage here a couple of weeks ago when we were in Japan. We walked in one evening and they were able to accommodate us. We did the oil and Thai with foot and it was a very deep and therapeutic massage. We both enjoyed it a lot and the massage therapists were very great and made us feel comfortable. They don’t have a face cradle for the prone position (you have the massage on futons on the floor with a pillow supporting your head) so for me that was a little hard having to adjust my neck side to side, but other than that it was a great place and definitely couldn’t...
