After a two-week trip to Japan, I returned to the US with some beautiful pottery gifts for my mother and stepmother. It took me a while to find the perfect pieces, but Tokodo was the highlight of my search. The staff were warm and welcoming, offering detailed insights into the origins and craftsmanship of the pieces. I ended up purchasing four items, all meticulously packed for the journey home. Yesterday, I gave my mother one of the bowls and she was thrilled. I only wish I could have bought more! I can't wait to visit again—amazing products and exceptional staff....

Yoshioka-san at Tokodo was incredibly helpful during my efforts to purchase a teapot while traveling between Osaka and Kyoto. First, while I was in Osaka, he guided me through the Japanese e-commerce website to help me make the purchase. Then, he ensured that the teapot arrived at my hotel before my departure. A really beautiful collection of hand crafted pieces from around Japan - the only problem was that we couldn't buy more! The owner told us it was his family business in its third generation, and after our purchase he was even kind enough to book us into a Japanese restaurant next door for lunch too enjoy some of the best sashimi we've had so far! Definitely take a look if you're in the market for some quality...
