Four months ago, I had my first hair cut done by Shinsuke san. As it was my first hair cut done in Japan, I was a bit worried that I wouldn’t behave nor communicate properly in a very polite culture.

The moment I walked in, Shinsuke san and another staff were at the front desk to greet me, but I felt comfortable right away. I found Shinsuke san very friendly, warm, kind and hospitable and made you feel very welcomed and at ease right away! I tried speaking Japanese a little bit, and he was so kind to help me with some words. Shinsuke san is a very talented and skillful hair stylist. He works with precision and attention to detail, yet he is so relaxed! It was amazing having my hair being done by him for the first time and yet I felt so comfortable and we had fun sharing some jokes. I was so happy to be able to get a very beautiful hair cut by him! Wish he were closer to my home! しんすけさん、お疲れさまでした。

Now that it’s been 4 months, I found that my hair still looks good and is still easier to manage than ever, which is the result of a fantastic hair cut! A very good cut last for a long time! Honestly, I am now afraid to get a hair cut in a hair salon at my home country….^ - ^ It is truly worth every penny and more! I highly recommend Shinsuke san if you are thinking of getting a beautifully done and stylish hair cut!

I have a lot of hair so whenever I cut it short, it would volumize with humidity and I'd look like Dora the explorer. As a mom with a toddler, managing my long hair is tiresome so I decided to take the cut at Shibuya since they also offered hair straightening services. Their website was easy to book service in English and straight forward. I literally booked it early that morning to be seen at 11:30am. Navigation there is easy from Shibuya Crossing (straight walk) but you have to enter the building for access to the elevator to go upstairs 2F to the salon. It's surrounded by other stores.

Takumi Kinoshita was so wonderfully talented, thoughtful and considerate! I showed him my photo inspo for my hair and it turned out exactly like it! I cut my long hair short and got the straightening service, which took 3 hours but it was worth it because he was insanely thorough! Despite the language barrier, he used a translator and was patient with me the entire time. I would definitely come back here again when I visit Japan to get my hair done! Highly recommend others to book him and come to this salon. My hair was bleached out, dyed dark, and got insanely dry but after the straightening perm it feels so healthy and shines! Aya who is hair style directer, create my hair style on June 25, 2020. She has lots of experience to create the great hair style, so easy to trust her suggestion and advice even first time to visit there. She is not only about suggestion, but also thinking deeply to create about how it works my hair style in the future.

Minako who is professional senior colorist, arranged my hair color last night. She's lots of knowledge, ideas and images of the hair color, and also treat and arrangement, of the hair. Aya and Minako are very nice team to create my hair style. I'm very lucky to meet them at Tony and Guy Hair dressing at Aoyama.
