Make a reservation online before you come! The website is all in Japanese so use the translator to translate the whole page. My nail technician was Oda Kayoko and she was awesome! I got 3d nails done and it took 3 hours. Oda was super patient and allowed me to choose what went on every single nail and all of the colors for everything. I would suggest bringing pictures of what you want beforehand and asking them if they could do it for you if you want something specific. My nail technician didn’t know much English but we were able to communicate using the google translate app. Definitely recommend this nail salon! I had a great experience and am so so happy with the results of my nails!!

As a Japanese American who can’t read kanji, I just decided to pick a random option on their website which said hand with ¥4999 /¥5999/ ¥6999. When I got to the place (which is across from koe hotel, on the 6th floor) I realized that I had to pick from a set of designs that they showed me on their tablet. They had different designs for different prices. They had a variety of pretty good designs. This wasn’t what I really expected, but at least now I know. Overall, the person that did my nails was pretty nice and they give you a free drink. My nails ended up being a little over ¥5000 and took about 1 hour.

II was visiting Tokyo and really determined to get my nails done. My nail tech was very patient with me (I️ don’t speak Japanese) and using picture and google translate she figured out exactly what I️ wanted. She was gentle and went at quick pace. She made sure I️ was happy with every step md very nail before moving on. I️ had a good time and ended up with awesome nails! Most higher end nail salons in Tokyo seem to rehire an appointment so making one is helpful. I️ didn’t get a chance to but luckily they had a cancellation.

I really wished I had looked up the salon earlier because then I would have known to cancel. I honestly should have left when I saw the prices at the salon. Firstly this salon advertised an English menu online which suggested that they could cater towards non japanese speaking/ fluent customers. However the process to book was in Japanese which should have been a massive red flag and the prices of the services advertised online and on the booking page did not match on the day. ¥810 for an infill for each acrylic nail which is already ridiculous, even though removal was only ¥2700. I would have been okay if they just deemed it too difficult to speak only English to me and turned me away it would have been better.

I emailed them asking them if it would be okay with my long acrylic extensions already on my nails. They asked me for a photo of my nails and I sent it with no response. Another red flag.

On the day the woman who served me was nice but did not understand anything I asked and had to depend on a translator app that did not translate all too well, and I should have left at that point however I wanted to try Japanese nail art and I felt awful for booking an appointment then cancelling it on the day. So she sat me down and tried to give me a run down of the prices, she ended up giving me the wrong price anyways. I ended up doing the ¥810/each nail plus new gel design which was ¥15040. The design was lovely however it was not worth this amount and stress. I also asked the lady just as she was taking off my original colour if perhaps I should take off my acrylic entirely and put on a new set, once again she did not understand me, used the translator app, told me no, I asked her later on and she realised what I was really asking for (which was the former) told me I could not change my course because she had already spent too much time on which I respect. (In hindsight I should have asked to have my acrylics taken off and leave the salon asap) I understand she kept to my wishes to keep my length but tbh it was not worth the price especially as infills are so expensive.

So all in all; I would not recommend this salon if you have little to no Japanese skills or have no idea how Japanese nail salons function or if you already have western (long) acrylic extensions. I would honestly suggest that you either have the menu advertised online and in the stores to be the same, with sufficient english descriptions. In addition have it made very clear that if customers do not have sufficient Japanese language skills / knowlege of japanese nail systems that there will be difficulty. The communication between customer and salon was what irked me because I was so confused. The work they put in to make my design was wonderful and thus it is unfortunate that the lack of understanding, and inconsistency of information being given soured the experience and have me paying a ridiculous amount out of pocket.

I'm not saying my experience was entirely terrible, Japanese natives appear to be frequent and enjoy the service, it is just not english...

I cannot judge the quality of their nail design but I would like to review their service which I was not satisfied with. First of all their prices are not straight forward. There is a price list of the type of nail you wish and if you get your nails longer an extra fee times 10 is added which makes it very expensive. I also don't want to claim that I got treated like this because I was a foreigner, but I did not feel welcomed there. I know that Japan is not very fluent or comfortable with Japanese, but with friendliness and gestures I always got around but here the girl in the reception seemed too bothered to care and even though I was still explaining she called another girl instead of her and left. The other girl understood even less English and was very complicated to deal with. I showed her in multiple different ways how long I would like my nails to be and she really wouldn't get it so I happened to touch one of her long fake nails and she seemed upset about it. I know that Japanese people usually don't touch strangers but I was so frustrated explaining myself at that point and as a nailartist she she should be used to touch fingers. It seemed quite hideous to me. What I also found fishy (maybe it js the standard but the whole situation did not help) was that they wanted to me to pay the full costs of 13000¥ upfront, even though my appointment would take place in 5 days. I understand when you have to pay like 30% upfront, but not 100%, especially when the communication is so bad. I lied and said that I will think about it and come back. I believe that they do very cute nailart but their service is really not nice compared to all the other places...

I can't speak to their ability but about their service. I came in there to make an appointment. We waited in the lobby for a bit which didn't bother me and I understand if they were all working. It gave me a second to look around and the place was really disgusting. The floors were stained half the light bulbs over the corner we're burned out. There was gunk all over the computer and mouse at the front counter. It was dusty... I just wasn't getting a good vibe. Then a girl popped around the corner and seemed uninterested to really help me. She pulled out a sheet and didn't explain that the prices did not include extensions. It was already going to be $107 in US and then adding the nail extensions on it would have made it $200... Seriously? That's absurd. I kept trying to confirm with her that that was right because for $107 dollars you only got nail art on three fingers per hand and that just seemed outrageous. She passed me off to another girl who spoke even less English. And tried to translate on her phone but did not make any sense. I told her I would think about it and left. I didn't have a good feeling about any of it and didn't feel welcomed. Which doesn't bother me. I'll spend my money elsewhere. But don't go there if you aren't a local. I have a feeling that they don't...
