Marine Rouge — Local services in Yokohama

We took the 60-minute afternoon cruise departing at 14:30 from near the Red Brick Warehouse, expecting breathtaking views similar to those in Amsterdam or Copenhagen. While the few large bridges were truly spectacular, the city skyline didn't quite meet our expectations, perhaps due to the afternoon timing (night scenes might be better). The red lighthouse was a lovely highlight, though!

Unfortunately, there was very little information provided in English, and announcements were only made in Japanese, making it difficult for foreign tourists to follow. The staff and operators also struggled to communicate in other languages, although some made an effort to help.

Overall, the cruise was decent, but improvements in language support would enhance the experience. Maybe consider a night cruise for a more impressive...

Mixed in the review. The boat and trip around the bay was very nice and relaxing. My issue comes in with what we paid for, vs what we got.

My family and I went on the afternoon cruise, 60 minutes, included dessert and coffee. When we went to the restaurant for the sweets, we were told everything was extra, and nothing was included. Web page clearly says the dessert was included but nobody was able to help, simply refused to do anything and said anything we wanted needed to be purchased.

I would warn everyone to be careful, about getting what you pay for. I was extremely disappointed in not getting dessert, as was my 8 year old...

14時くらいからの１時間コース。 ２階席でケーキとコーヒーを飲みながら ベイブリッジやキリン(クレーン)を見ることができるちょっと優雅なコース。 でもお値段はリーズナブルですょ☺

デッキでは海風を感じることもでき、十分に横浜を堪能できます。

船は、「マリーンルージュ」と「マリーンシャトル」という船が運航しています。乗船のみなら、最安値でマリーンルージュが大人2,400円（60分）です。意外とリーズナブルですよね！サザンオールスターズの「LOVE AFFAIR〜秘密のデート〜」の歌にマリーンルージュが出てきます。この歌は1988年の「スウィートシーズン」というドラマの主題歌に使われました。椎名桔平と松嶋菜々子が主人公の不倫のラヴストーリーをテーマにしたドラマです。歌詞の中には横浜のスポットが幾つか出てきますが、その中で “マリーンルージュで愛されて大黒埠頭で虹を見てシーガーディアンで酔わされて” とあります。ちなみにシーガーディアンというBARは山下公園の前にあるホテルニューグランドの中にあります。また歌の後半で“ ボウリング場でカッコつけてブルーライトバーで泣き寝濡れてハーバービューの部屋で抱きしめて” とありますが、ブルーライトバーは山下公園の前にあるスターホテル横浜の中にあるピアノBARです。 LOVE AFFAIR...
