The staff tried their best. Genuinely, the service was fantastic. But there was just no redeeming the pizza.

I'm a vegetarian, so I ordered the cheese pizza. I was so excited to get Chicago style deep dish since I lived in Chicago before moving to Japan.

However, when I cut into my pizza, there was sausage in it! There was no mention of sausage on the menu except for "Chicago patty" written in the ingredients for this item. Full disclosure, I hadn't looked at the ingredients because I expected a cheese pizza to just be a CHEESE pizza, but even if I had looked, I wouldn't have known that a "Chicago patty" was sausage.

I called the staff over and told them that I was a vegetarian, and there was sausage in my pizza even though it hadn't been listed on the menu. They were very apologetic and offered to make me another pizza. They said they can't take the sausage out of the cheese pizza since it's in the sauce (it was a meat sauce), but they could make the shrimp pizza vegetarian by making it without the shrimp on top. There was no meat on the inside of the pizza. This sounded like a good and reasonable solution, so I agreed and waited for a new pizza.

Well, the monstrosity that they served me was worse than the original pizza. If you know deep dish pizza, you know it's basically a deep pie crust filled with what would be toppings on a typical pizza. Well, this pizza was completely filled with bechamel sauce and topped with cheese, diced tomatoes, and arugula. They might as well have brought me a bowl of bechamel sauce. It was so disgusting that I genuinely couldn't eat it. I was literally gagging. The taste and even the smell were both terrible.

I knew that they had tried to make a pizza to meet my dietary restrictions, and they had been so nice, so I decided to just eat the cost of this ¥2,000 inedible pizza after only being able to force down one slice.

After that, I gave up on pizza and ordered fish and chips instead. (I'm actually pescatarian but didn't want shrimp on the second pizza because they were the kind with the legs still on.) It was pretty good. The strawberry lemonade was also very good.

As I said before, the servers and even the manager (who I did not ask to speak to but came over of his own accord) gave fantastic service. They tried really hard to provide a good dining experience.

But the Americane Shrimp Pizza is an abomination that should not exist. With or...

You might have to wait a bit at this pizza place if you don’t have a reservation. For the pizza, since they bake it fresh, it usually takes about 30 minutes, so it’s best to order the pizza right when you sit down. But honestly, the food doesn’t take too long overall—it actually comes out pretty fast.

We ordered vegetable penne, a steak, and a Chicago pizza. The Chicago pizza tasted more like a tart than a regular pizza, kind of like a cheese tart, and it was super tasty! It was crispy and hot, which I really liked. Plus, the restaurant had a beautiful night view.

There’s a seating charge (service fee), and you have to order using a QR code, which can be a bit annoying. You need a phone, and you also have to have LINE, because you need to add the restaurant’s LINE account to order. That was a bit of a hassle. The three of us were eating together, but only my phone worked for the QR code. Later, when we saw the survey, it mentioned that you could actually order without a phone, but the staff didn’t tell us that, so that was a bit disappointing.

Other than that, everything was really good, and I’d definitely recommend it. The service...

The restaurant needs a good cleaning. The table was sticky, so were the menus. The wall was stained with grease. Window sills dusty.

Half the menu was "sold out"; which maybe was due to it being New Year's. However, if you'd like to offer a reduce menu during the holidays, maybe say it before people are seated.

We were rushed to our seats even though I was with someone with a clear disability. Furthermore, after an hour (we waited for 20 minutes for the food in a half empty restaurant), we were told it was time for "last order". Which seemed odd, as previously stated the place was half empty; and we had a reservation.

Also, ordering must be done through LINE app which isn't "user-friendly" or appropriate for people visiting from other countries.

Finally, the food was severely over priced for what it was. Food court deep dish pizza.

Shame really, space has a ton...

Was surprised to find a deep-dish pizza here and read so many positive reviews about it. Unfortunately, the food here didn’t seem to live up to its hype. The pizza was ok but I don’t know why the cheese they used was so sharp. The roasted chicken was decent if a little dry. The biggest disappointment was the Brussels sprouts dish which contained about 8 halves of the sprouts with an equal amount of was what seemed to be made up of potatoes, mushrooms and anchovies. I mean, if your dish is a Brussels sprouts dish and it seemed like it was equal amounts other ingredients and Brussels sprouts, that’s disappointing. The anchovy flavour also overpowered the flavour of the sprouts. While the additional cover charge of 400 yen was ok, unfortunately, the quality of the food did not justify this. Staff were attentive as with most Japanese F&B outlets.

We were told pizza would take 25 minutes. It took an hour and 25 minutes. In the meantime, there was no warning or updates, no one came to check whether we were doing ok or whether we needed anything while we were waiting, although I do see how everything is supposed to be mostly automated. Then the pizzas arrived: they had no form and there was nothing deep about it. They were rather extremely thin with soupy and runny toppings. You couldn’t scoop up a slice intact because they were falling apart into mush. Taste was also mediocre at best. We were also served another table’s drinks at one point.
