Perfect apartments, but the smell kills all!!! ||NEGATIVE:||1.) This is NOT A HOTEL, but kind of AirBnB. No staff, no-one to see, no-one to help.|No visible management for help, just contact via Whatsapp.||2.) Received wrong room and had to pay for an upgrade to get „my“ room which I originally booked. Sadly I got no refund from Agoda.||3.) No hotel means no breakfast. ||4.) ALL ROOMS SMELL BAD. When I entered my first room there was a bad smell in living room and sleeping room. But the urine smell in the bathroom is horrible. I changed my room, but the second room had the same problem: a strange smell in the apartment and a even worse smell in the bathroom.|The management told me that ALL APARTMENTS/ROOMS at the Shore have this problem (see my WhatsApp screenshots).||5.) The ground floor is a mere construction site and does not look inviting at all (see photos). | |6.) Planes flying directly over the hotel- but it is more fun than annoying.... | | |POSITIVE:||1.) Beautiful and spacious apartments| |2.) Nice kitchenette | |3.) PERRRRRRFECT and tremendous sea view!!!| |4.) Shopping mall close by!||5.) Nice and helpful housekeeping staff!| | |CONCLUSION:|It breaks my heart, but I CANNOT RECOMMEND going there.|The apartments themselves are beautiful, spacious, luxurious with a tremendous sea view.|The main problem is the 2 different smells in the apartments and the bath rooms.|Even after opening the bathroom window for 15 hours the urine smell did not vanish.|What is the use of an apartment if it is smelly?|Regrading the price there are cheaper and maybe same beautiful options around.|Normally the rating would be 9 points out of 10, but the smell reduces it to 4 to 5...

After having been informed by the hotel short after 3p.m. at the day of check in that for the access we need to transfer money for the deposit to a bank account (this has not been mentioned during the whole booking process) it was impossible to reach the hotel to find a solution. As we are from Germany it is simply not possible to transfer easily and fast money to a malaysian bank account. Several whats app messages, calls as well as messages via Agoda have been ignorred. The first answer I received was when I sent them the info that they should refund the paid money because we are now in another hotel. They reject to pay the money back as there is a 2 week cancellatiion and as the check in failed because we did not show up, we had to pay. But would you go there when they do not talk to you to find a solution for the bank transfer. There is no excuse, nothing from there side... it is simply fraud what they are doing, so better...
