Read moreVisited with a group of friends who wanted to dine here. Was told this is a halal place but I think it is not because I think they do serve alcohol as well. Already got an online reservation so it was not difficult to get a table. The restaurant didn't seem full so it might be easy for small groups to walk in as well. Ordered quite a bit of food and to my surprise the portions of some items are actually quite big. We ended up not being able to finish all the food and had to take away some. First the japchae came. Had to be the most disappointing dish because the portion was so small and the noodles were basically tasteless. The dish which looked like bibimbap was ordered by a friend. Initially I didn't like the flavours just by looking at the description because it had tuna and anchovies. Little didn't I expect it turned out that the rice was mixed and then made into rice balls. Was one of my favorite dishes. The anchovies which I didn't like was the crispy element inside the rice ball and the flavours complemented well. The fried chicken were okay, mix of big and small pieces. The spicy one was more spicy than expected. Another of the more surprisingly good dish was the chicken and the cheese. Didn't thought I would like it because am not really a cheese fan but I think the sauce on the chicken won me over. The tteokbokki was also something a little strange, was expecting only the rice cake turned out so many other ingredients inside like the ramen and the glass noodles. Comparing the kimchi pancake with the other dishes, it is also less appetizing and lacking flavours. We all agreed it wasn't nice and we didn't finish it. It was an okay meal, service was so so but the horrible thing was the sound of music. Certain times they were totally blasting it and was so irritating and deafening. I didn't know how was the damage for the bill because someone paid for the meal. Too full for any desserts, and oh it seems that kids get a free scoop...
Read moreIm just gonna get straight to the point. One of your staffs was freaking rude. 4 of us came in initially, but after that 2 of our friends who were coincidentally in the same area, decided to join us after around 20 minutes. We sat at a long table like the one at a school canteen, and there were like a few empty chairs next to us. So when our 2 friends came in, there were still empty chairs around us. Suddenly, 1 of your staffs came to us and told us that we’re making other customers uncomfortable cuz initially we only said there were 4 of us. And she kept telling that to our faces. First of all, u are making us uncomfortable. Second, who the heck even cares when there’s an extra 2 persons sitting at a long table like the one at a school canteen, with a few more spaces around us? And the whole 50 minutes we were there, u guys kept singing happy birthday songs for like 5 freaking times, at a freaking loud voice at that.. but we didnt even say a thing.. and how the heck would an extra 2 persons joining the empty seats next to us would make people feel uncomfortable? Literally nobody could seat there other than 2 of our friends cuz whoever decide to sit there would either have to seat exactly next to the other pair of dudes on the left side, or either they have to sit exactly next to us, which would make even them and us uncomfortable. So why dont u just let our friends stay there with us instead? It’s not like they didnt order anything after that. This is very rude and they were lucky we weren’t in the mood to complaint on that day cuz we just wanted to have a good time after stressful days, but spoilt by that arrogant and...
