Not an exclusive Kérastase salon. Firstly the shampoo and conditioner used at the basin, is not kerastase despite all of the advertising in salon that it’s being used exclusively. I also had to request for heat protection on my long hair .. a basic requirement in a hair salon one would think.

Hair wash and head massage was excellent and L’Oréal colour service was well well applied and blended, but unfortunately the colour completely missed the mark for the roots touch up. It was meant to match the ends of my hair but turned out 3 shades lighter - a weird look!!

So unfortunately overall my experience here was expensive, inconvenient and very disappointing…

Surprisingly I paid in full for the hair, (which could not be fixed for 6 weeks I was told.. due to them not having a toner/semi/demi products).. I went and paid the same amount for a colour correction at another salon 2 days later.

Also I actually overpaid for the manicure & pedicure … as the price-list on the front was misleading… it says - manicure/ pedicure with the pricing… but when I politely queried being charged a higher rate.. they explained that that was the price for a buff and polish only. I expressed my confusion as it states manicure and pedicure… also that lady didn’t use water on my hands.. no moisturiser or massage?? It was absolutely NOT a manicure. My nails also looked terrible the next day too, so sadly for me a total waste of money.

Regardless, to avoid more awkwardness, I paid the higher price they demanded, but felt compelled to share my experience via a review to others considering...

If I had read Google Reviews before visiting this salon, I probably would have avoided.

To be fair, there was no waiting time. I was a walk-in just wanting a haircut. The haircut was below average, could get the same or better at your neighbourhood barber. In fact, I might even have to go to my neighbourhood barber to shape a little better. The wash was below average.

I think the thing that irks me most is that the service is not transparent and unprofessional.

I wanted only a haircut, which I asked for at the counter. I was not given the choice of stylist vs senior stylist vs director stylist vs senior director stylist. As he was cutting my hair, instead of sweeping the cut hair onto the floor or to the sides, he conveniently swept it to the front and all over my face and neck. It was really uncomfortable. And then he said the haircut was done, and said I could choose between normal wash and ‘deep wash’. With the mess of hair all over, I was compelled to go for a wash. The wash lasted less than two minutes, just squeeze on some shampoo and conditioner hardly with any lathering and wash off. Was sent back to the chair with my hair dripping wet. It was here I was asked my preference for blow dry for hair. I realised it probably was another ploy to add on to the bill for mediocre service so I took the towel, dried my own hair and left.

I was charged 78RM, the price for senior director stylist wash and cut.

If it were a decent saloon, I wouldn’t mind the price. But such substandard skill and lack of ethics is something I cannot condone. This is not how you do business or keep customers. I will not be back, and will advice others not...

I'm very picky for hair salon. Here is my honest review for this salon. Please read till the end and you will know why they deserve 5 stars.

I went for haircut, and my hair is long (until bottom) so the price is rm138 (Oct 2023).

At first I thought its a bit pricey because the ambience wasn't as prestige as per name, I went for nicer salon ambience before. I thought maybe because it's in Suria KLCC thts why consider prestige.

Hair wash. It was a bit so so maybe because I didn't add on money for cleansing. It wasn't that bad, the guy that wash my hair is so gentle that I feel like he wash full of love not like normal salon rough but it feel cleanse. But I wish it can be longer.

Haircut and hairstyling. This is the turnover. Now I understand why the hairwash is quick it's because they took a good amount of time and care to cut my hair. My hair stylist is name Kayren btw, kudos to her for giving me such a nice hair cut, put so much care, efforts and very skillful I will said. She is not talkative which I thankful for so I can enjoy my hairsaloon day, but we do communicate about my hairstyle. And I could not express enough how much I love my hairstyle. And now you understand where the price should went for. The stylist deserve it and yes if you don't want major haircut and trimming maybe you complain like other bad review here. But if need a major makeover it's a hallelujah place for you. Thanks Kayren, I will definitely come again...
