Let’s start with the good points: Waiters/Waitresses – Very polite and patient. Even the foreign staffs are well-trained to speak properly with the customers.
Sky-Dining experience – Nice-view restaurant, especially sitting at a table that is next to a window. This is the main selling point of this place.
Now to the bad ones: Customer service – Although the waiters/waitresses met expectation, we could not tolerate with how the manager treated us lightly and how our booking was neglected. To recap, the whole selling point of this place is the sky-dining experience. I booked more than 1 week in advance, with one and only request for our anniversary celebration on the phone, i.e., a table INDOOR with a GOOD VIEW. In addition, they called me 4 days before the day to confirm and I repeated the same. On that night itself, they welcomed us with an 'appetizer' that when we entered – a table with a ‘good view’ reserved for us is the first table from the entrance, with less than five steps away from the entrance and in the middle of the restaurant. They have redefined ‘good view’ – easily viewed by every other customer. We were still calm and tried to clarify with a waiter about my request. Then, the manager came and told me "Sir, we are full house today (and can you compromise?)". So, does it mean we have to accommodate for your mistake and mismanagement, despite having emphasized and confirmed twice on the phone? To be fair, should you have informed me such full-house situation when I booked in advance in either of the two phone conversations, we would find it tolerable. But this?
After that, the waiters (not manager, because busy entertaining other seemingly more important customers) 'attempted' rearranging another table for us by and ended up with a table that was just a few more steps away from the entrance and considered this case closed. Note that we came at 7pm and more than half of the indoor tables were still empty, marked with “reserved” with time like 8.30pm onwards. I get it now, late comers or perhaps VIPs are given tables with the real good view. Throughout that night, when some other tables next to windows were cleared, they did not bother to compensate us and asked to move us to any of those requested tables. We also observed that they are prioritizing serving some customer group with larger head count. Totally understandable, it makes sense for a business to focus on those who are more impactful to their revenue and that is why two persons’ simple request was expendable.
When we first came in at 7pm, we observed that the restaurant (indoor tables, which I requested) was at most half-full. We left at 9pm due to the late coming food (read further below), and the best part is, the restaurant indoor was still about half-full with empty tables next to the windows. To recap, "Sir, we are full house today (and Happy April Fool!)" Absolutely entertaining for our important occasion!
Food – Presentation-wise, a few photos of main course and dessert posted speak for themselves. Maybe we do not understand how appreciate arts of food presentation. This really broadened our horizon.
Taste-wise, only the tapas were good. A main course, the stuffed chicken ordered was not fresh and tasted like stored inside the fridge for very long and did not get defrosted well. The pasta was too salty and the dessert was sour instead. Totally stimulated our appetite!
Time – It took about 1 hour for the first main course to arrive. And it took 40 minutes for the other main course to come. Between that, a few wrong orders came. Apparently, we were not alone, the couples next table couples before us, also followed up on their late-coming food. Top-notch management!
Verdict: Spent more than RM100 per person and the experience here totally has totally redefined ‘sky dining’, i.e., sky-high level of disappointments, blowing you away with surprises. Finally, thanks for reminding us how trivial...
Read moreI wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I had low expectations for this place but I never thought that it can be so much worse than I ever anticipated.
The 3 course meal started off wattery onion soup with 3 revolting lumps that I think is supposed to be croutons. The onion soup tasted like stale onion soaked in pepper water which leaves an aftertaste so bad that I couldn't wash it away with an entire glass of ice lemon tea.
The starters were 2 pieces of stale and unappetising bruschetta, the eggplant resembles and taste nothing like eggplant, the texture of the eggplant felt like decomposing vegetables and the tomato were so oxidised and dehydrated that if left out there any longer I could had mistaken it for sun dried tomatoes.
Just when I thought that it couldn't get any worse, the restaurant managed to outdo itself by presenting me one of the worst tasting food I've ever tasted in any restaurant. Oven baked sea bass served with roasted vegetable and penne cooked in cream. I'm not exactly sure how to describe the penne, texture wise it was just like any other overcooked pasta left out in the kitchen for hours, but taste wise it was like cooking the penne in skimmed milk with a unhealthy amount of used socks collected from gyms, and finished with a sprinkle of pepper. The fish was so stale that it made me wonder if this was left in the freezer since the first lockdown in March 2020. The fish was so overcooked and stale that if eaten blindfolded, I would had guess that it was my sandals. The roasted corn probably deserves some sort of primary school science experiment award for dehydrating vegetables. It was so dry that if cooked in the pan for any longer, it would probably become a nice bag of popcorn.
The entire meal made me wonder what is fresh in this 3 course meal? Is there anything fresh? Or are they just bulk prepared and just plated and served the moment guest arrives, not even heated up. I can taste the staleness of each of the ingredients and the amount of oxidation of each dish. I don't expect fish to be live and whatnot but seabass felt like it was left in the freezer since the restaurant was founded. Food in petrol station definitely taste miles better than in Envi, at least they're heated up in a microwave, instead of served cold, probably as cold as the ice lemon tea that came with the meal.
I think the only dish that did not disappoint was the plain water, it was nice and crisp, room temp and crystal clear.
I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy, it's inhumane to serve food like this and an even worse insult to the fish that died for this dish and the people that worked so hard to grow the plants that were used. I would like to apologize on behalf of Envi to these people and animals that died...

Worst restaurant experience in my life. The only good thing is the view, everything else was fatal. We called by phone to make a reservation for dinner for my birthday and the staff who answered the call did not know anything, and was very rude. We went on August 16 (my birthday) and they didn't have our reservation, we ignored the mistake because there were tables available.
Then the waiter spoke very bad English (in a restaurant where many foreigners go) and did not use the appropriate language (example: what would you like to drink? he said, what drink?), we asked him if we could change tables ( a table that looked available and did not say that it was reserved, his answer was "can not, can not" without giving us any explanation, we asked him for a recommendation for the meats and he said "anything is fine". Then we ordered an entry and two plans main dishes, and they brought everything together. I asked the waiter if he could take a picture of us with the food and he made a face and told me to give him a moment, we waited for him to come back and he ignored our table, I tried to call him and he I didn't know my table, he had to come to a table that was next to mine and I ask him again and he says "I'm busy", my husband gets annoyed and says "if you don't want to take our picture just say so and ask someone from your colleagues to help us", there the waiter, seeing our annoyance, took our photo and then told me "I can't take photos of everyone because I'm very busy". I was ignoring all this rudeness because it was my birthday and I wanted a space day. then we waited 10 minutes for the bill because there is only one waiter per area.
The food was horrible, I regret not having returned the dishes simply because I didn't want to ruin my day. The onion soup did not look like onion soup at all, plus the taste was sweet, and it had 4 little pieces of bread that were totally soaked by the soup and the texture was disgusting, no cheese gratin, the worst onion soup ever. onion of my life
the pasta looked like a pasta soup, the presentation was horrible, it seemed like they threw the pasta on the plate, it was supposed to have salmon and there were only a few pieces of salmon submerged in all that sauce, plus they serve the pasta on plates that are not suitable to eat.
then before we left we made our multiple complaints but they just told us "sorry" but never asked where we sat, who served us, nothing, so our complaints were in vain.
