Restaurante Chichos — Restaurant in Baja California

Bueno el día de ayer fui a desayunar por mi cumpleaños ( no suelo celebrar mi cumpleaños ) jamas me había animado a comer aquí, ya que hace años mi cuñado fue supervisor de este lugar y me dijo que habían muchas cosas mal y no querían cambiarlas para mejor. Llegamos pedimos mesa grande, nos sacan a esperar a fuera mientras llegan las demás personas que llegarían conmigo ( pensando que estaba mintiendo yo creo) una vez que ya eramos como 8 personas nos pasan arriba ( La hostes) muuuuy amable, una muchacha con acento de otro país. Después de muchos minutos sentados 15 aprox llega una mesera y le pido si nos ayuda con café y bebidas ( tardaron otros 15 en llegar) o 20 quizás, ya llena la mesa pasaron otros 20 y no volvía a levantar comanda o preguntar si gustabamos más café y volví a llamar su atención para que lo hiciera. Toma pedido y juro que tardaron casi 40 min o si no 1 hora en llegar la comida ( en verdad ) llegamos alas 9:15 aprox y como alas 10:40 empezamos a desayunar ( ya bebidas no teniamos) ordene hotcakes para mis hijos ( con fruta ) llegaron los hotcakes y la fruta jamás, en varias ocasiones le comenté a la mesera si podía auxiliarme con la fruta de los niños y sus licuados de fruta ( que también llegaron hasta que terminaron de comer) le dije por 3ra ocasión que si los batidos no estaban listos en ese momento es mejor que los cancele y traiga agua embotellada para que coman mis hijos, me parce super mal que tengan qje estar pasando sed, pero en eso me dijo ( ya están joven) bueno me los traes entonces, gracias ( los sube a los 10 min) junto el agua embotellada que por cierto le dije que no la trajera si ya estaban los batidos ( ah y trajo 1 y había pedido antes de cancelar el agua 2) jaja

No se si era nueva la muchacha, y entiendo que es difícil atender pero no imposible, la cocina trabaja muuuuy lento y eso pues les repercute a ellas también, pero yo he trabajado en restaurantes y creo el servicio es 1ro.

Mu comida llegó fría ( rib eye) lo pedí termino medio, llego cocido completo y pues frío ( seco) y cuando esto pasa queda duro y chicloso. Lo único rescatable fueron los chilaquiles la vdd, el vampiro que pedí esta en 7 de 10 en calificacion para mi.

Me dio cura cura que la mesera al llegar dijo que eran el mejor restaurante y que ellos eran profesionales blablabla y al terminar su cara era de ( me contradije ).

Es pésimo que te traigan la comida en partes, que no tengas bebida, que no vengan a llenar tu café, que no puedan picar la fruta que debe llevar acompañando los hotcakes, y tampoco mantequilla para ellos.

La música estaba muuuuuy fuerte y sorry pero el sr que cantaba pues no cantaba muy bien. Todo salio mal ( ahh y sobre mi cumpleaños) me llevaron un muffin ( viejo) con una crema batida echa de puro huevo ( sin sabor, no se) se agradece pero estaba super horrible, una rebanada de cualquier pastel ( hasta cobrada ) era mejor.

No regreso y las demás personas que fueron también dijeron lo mismo ( algunos ya eran clientes de años) quedamos...

Be careful when eating at this restaurant. This was our first and last time. We arrived for breakfast today around 11 a.m. Security informed us that we couldn’t park in the lot next door and needed to drive to the back, where Chicos has its own valet. My daughters and I got out while my husband drove around to park.

The food and service were good—no complaints there. Afterward, we ran several errands all over Tijuana throughout the day. Our final stop for the day was a coffee shop, where my daughter received a notification that an AirTag was tracking her. We searched the car and found an AirTag hidden in the trunk.

When we looked it up, it showed activity starting at 11:18 a.m.—right when we were at the restaurant. This is the only place we visited that had valet. We drove in from San Diego. I have no idea why this was done, but I’m sure you can imagine everything that went through our minds. We have been coming to Tijuana for years and have never...

My co-worker and I came here for lunch. We were a little surprised that all the menu items seemed to be either breakfast or egg related. My Spanish is so-so so it was a little difficult to order. I did get the rib-eye plate with eggs, but wasn't really in the mood for eggs so I got them scrambled. My co-worker ordered a beer, and I later ordered a beer. We can't tell if this is something you can normally order or if they just did it for us. The mug was frosted, but the beers took a while, as if they had to be ordered from somewhere else. My co-worker got chilaquiles. He loved his dish. My dish was called Mission Impossible, but in Spanish of course. The rib eye steak was really good. Cooked to order, medium. Tasted awesome and was not doused in any sauces to mask the meat flavor. Perfect. Our waiter was also very attentive and helpful despite my horrible Spanish. The food did not take long at all.
