It is an elegant looking restaurant. With exquisite decor. Red carpet and all. We had the crumbed hake and chips with a side salad. Was expecting a "crumbed" fish, but got a more less floured fish, but overall taste was good. We also ordered the "afval" accompanied by home made bread buns. Afval cooked to perfection, I would have loved more pieces of the "matangara" as opposed to the lamb trotters. Drinks nothing much took our fancy, just regular soft drinks, juice or wine/spirits on the menu. I would have loved to see maybe cocktails (both virgin and alcoholic). I would definitely dine here again.

I have driven past this place so many times and never thought of checking it out until today! I was struck in awe by the beautiful set up of the place! The Zambezi brim was the highlight for me! I enjoyed my meal! And the music ( instrumental) that was playing in the background lightened up my mood after a long, hard day! This place was worth every cent I spent!

We got brutally robbed and hurt with machete after leaving the restaurant. Seems like The guys from the restaurant were filming us (we thought it’s for social media) and waited in the restaurant for us, just to follow us after it. The servers let us wait 2 1/2 hours for the food just to not serve us until we voluntarily left. The few that got the food after 2 hours are now on hospital for food poisoning.

Food I personally didn’t enjoy the food. It was dry, and had no taste. there was no side sauce, and no Tabasco. No Hansa Draught

Service Our waitress was soo sweet. Very good customer service. She kept coming back to check on us.
