Coffeeshop Happy Feelings — Local services in Amsterdam

Definitely did not get happy feelings from my experience. As a tourist from NYC I was walking around all of Amsterdam just checking out a bunch of different spots I stumbled across this place on a Wednesday night famished, thirsty, and tired. When I first walked in it seemed like a really cool vibe, the lighting, music people chillin smoking etc, and there were some tables open. So the first thing on my mind is to grab something to drink, I noticed they had vending machines in the back so I kindly asked the man behind the bar if I could grab something to drink. He responds “this is a smoke shop.” Now I’m a pretty perceptive individual so I figure hmm maybe tourist just come in here often and not buy anything and ask to use the bathroom and stuff. I was getting the vibe that he didn’t like tourists. So I’m like okay let me buy something from the bar and secure a table so I can sit for a few minutes and regain my energy. At the time my throat was really sore because I was smoking a whole lot, I didn’t want to make it worse and get an infection or something so I opted for the edibles route. I wanted to try the space cake and buy some other edibles to take with me on my travels. So it’s my turn in Line and I ask for the edibles and if I could have a seat. His response was “this is a smoke shop and if you are going to sit in here you have to buy herb and smoke” this guy was extremely rude…. and he seemed really adamant about me buying weed. The front of the store clearly says coffee shop. At this point it’s clear to me that he did not want me in there. So I thanked him for his time and left. What kind of business treats customers like this !?! Trash. You better off going to the 420 smoke shop near the red light district that place was awesome. This spot might be better for locals but who knows this was just my experience. I left this place feeling confused and...

This place has got to be one of the best, if not the best coffeeshop in amsterdam. Genuinely had one of the best nights of my life here. The staff definitely know what they're talking about. It's all about the bud. Don't expect loud music or gimmicks (like bulldog). This place is laid back and comfortable. If you appreciate the plant, the staff will appreciate you and you'll have a wonderful time trying some of the best weed in amsterdam. Take change as they have vending machines. And I would recommend mixing some of their hash with some top quality green (not for the apprentice toker). Ask the bud-tender what he likes, he'll point you in the right direction. Oh and one last thing, it's such an amazing place, my girlfriend and I genuinely believed we were in a magic coffeeshop which appeared in order to enlighten people and then disappeared again when it served it's purpose. Wow , wow and wow ... First of all , what a great place ! And what a beautiful inside is. Is located in one of the best place in Amsterdam where you will find peace and quiet together with your weed, and friends or your partner . The prices are very decent for the level that this place offers you. The owner (Eli ) of this place is sensational and fabulous!( sometimes for very good people you can't find the words to describe them , i will try ) One in hand , he is very welcoming warm and friendly! i didn't know how to roll and he rolled for me.
