Grillhouse Nàder — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Excellent service, the waiter/owner/manager Boris was incredibly friendly and helpful. The steak was one of the nicest I've had (ever) and the price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality. The chips were the nicest I've had in Amsterdam (can't beat good oul Northern Irish chips) and the rice (boiled, I think, but light and fluffy) was the nicest "plain" rice I've ever had. The only thing I'd warn of is that it took a long time for our food to arrive (maybe 30 minutes) even though there were only a few tables occupied, but it was obvious this time was used to freshly prepare everything and it was more than worth the wait - just something to be aware of if you're in a rush.

Overall, I'm just unhappy that we only tried NadeR on our last night in Amsterdam. If we'd tried it on our first, we'd have been back every night without a doubt. We're tempted to come back next year just to visit again.

Score - 10 rare steaks out of 10, would eat again.

If you’re looking for a unique experience, this is the place! Not only the food and the service were great, but the prices were also reasonable and the environment had a chill vibe.

We ordered the following which I highly recommend:

Mix Grill for 2 ppl: Maybe I’ve had better individual steaks but the combination was perfect. The meats were cooked to perfection and exactly what we asked for. The ribs were true baby ribs, the rib eye and sirloin tasted amazing, and the chicken was just extraordinary! The sausages tasted delicious too.

The Mix grill comes with a Salad and fries too. The salad was great, same as the fries. Even the dressings were really good.

Wine: HIGHLY suggest “karaf van 1/2 litter” wine. They serve you dry red wine which was one the best wines I’ve had.

Grillhouse Nàder is hands down one of the best spots in Amsterdam if you're looking for fresh, delicious food with a super friendly vibe. The moment we walked in, the owner welcomed us with a big smile, making us feel right at home.
