A meh store taking too lightly the importance of word of mouth among their staff. For example: yesterday I sat down for a minute outside on their bench while my girlfriend checked out their products. When she was done she came outside and sat down with me telling me about what she had found. Within 60 seconds of this (not kidding!) an employee came out with a coffee in her hand tellings us we couldn't sit there. As we left she signalled to her colleague to come out and join her on the bench. We were of course not planning on lingering there anyway, especially since we hadn't found anything of interest in the shop but it gave us a feeling of being unwanted. A wise man said that you best judge character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him. By the same token one shouldnt judge customer service by how a company treats it's highest...

Oh, how I was wrong.
On the first visit, we had the cakes which were surprisingly moist - unlike some cafes were they taste like bicarbonate soda.
On our second visit, I tried the savory waffles. Now, let me tell you, there must be a genius in that kitchen who figured out that buckwheat waffles, eggs, bacon, sour cream, and oregano make a great combination - because they do.
The only fault is service. No fault to those serving you, as everyone is super kind, but sometimes plates aren't taken away as fast or a second coffee is forgotten about.

Read moreLoved our breakfast here. We had a coconut yogurt parfait, banana bread, matcha latte, fresh made juice , avocado toast, omlette and salad. Yes we ate all of that lol. They have lots of options for people with allergies (gluten free and dairy free options, as well as vegan options) but my husband who has no allergies or dietary concerns found things he liked too. Cute clothes in the store to shop while you wait. Good service....
