Me and my partner came on a weekday evening around 7pm so we skipped the tea time rush.
We were given a table straight away right next to the kitchen which was nice. It's all open plan so you can see the food being made.
It wasn't busy at all with only 3 tables in there for our entire visit. Which meant we had really quick service, our order was taken quickly and drinks came in no time at all.
The menu is decent with plenty to pick from and they also have other things apart from pasta if that's not what you are wanting.
We ordered a carbonara and meatballs. The wait wasn't long at all, about 15-20 minutes for freshly cooked pasta.
The portions were big, probably big enough to share for a smaller lunch option. The carbonara dish was really tasty, pasta was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was just right. However the same can't be said for the meatballs. The meat was really rubbery and didn't have much flavour and the tomato sauce it was in wasn't really exciting either.
Our bill came to €35 for two main pasta dishes and two drinks (sort drink and Irish coffee). Overall I would returned and would recommend but probably only for a quick bite to eat during the day or average meal out. I wouldn't suggest for a celebration or...
Read moreI recently dined at Pasta Factor with family, hoping for a satisfying meal of pasta and pizza, but our experience left much to be desired. We ordered pasta dishes and a pizza. While the pasta was decent, the pizza was a major letdown—it was practically inedible due to an overwhelming amount of cheese that completely overpowered the dish.
When the server checked in and asked how our food was, we politely mentioned that the pizza was not edible. Rather than offering a solution or alternative, the server simply walked away and never returned to address the issue.
Later, we asked if they could provide a discount for the uneaten pizza. The server checked with the manager, who refused the request. To make matters worse, the manager didn’t even have the courtesy to come to our table to discuss the situation or offer an apology. This lack of professionalism and basic customer service was incredibly disappointing. In the end, one of us left hungry and had to find something to eat elsewhere.
Overall, our experience at Pasta Factor was frustrating and disappointing, and I don’t plan on returning...
Read moreVisited, because there was a sign out the front that said “WE HAVE VEGAN PIZZA AND PASTA”. As other reviewers have noted, the waiter was very pushy. We asked what vegan options there were, and he said “everything can be made vegan”. I chose and he said “that’s no good, not vegan”. After asking about maybe four options, he agreed that the Mediterranean pasta could be made vegan.
We asked what else we could get, as two of us were eating, and he said “that’s the best option, two of those.” We tried to ask about pizzas, but he walked off. He seemed like he was in a huge rush, but there were only two other people in the restaurant, and they had already been served.
When the pasta came (from another waiter), we were told it was gluten free. I assume the regular pasta contains egg, but it was unclear. The food was okay. The pasta was covered in oil, to the point where I felt a little sick at the end. It took a while for someone to serve us when we wanted to pay, and I think we were charged extra for a...
