Flower Shop — Local services in Amsterdam

My husband and I were trying to buy a Christmas tree at this place. There was an elderly grumpy man (an owner as I got) who treated us so poorly. Firstly he said one price for the tree, but when we decided to take it he said more expensive one… then we kindly asked him to attach the three to our water pot. He started to refuse, cos he didn’t know how to do it. But when I wanted to explain the process to him I realised that he just didn’t want to work with us anymore, he started freaking out as if we were disturbing him. His assistant wanted to help us, but the man forbade him. I didn’t understand anything, it was a complete mess. I just wanted to buy the tree that’s why I tried to resolve the problem. But no, he interrupted me, showed his disrespect to us and when I said “I’m asking you politely, and I don’t get why you’re so aggressive” he told a few curse words and just run away, returned saying “forget it”and passed us heading towards his work place. Ok, we turned around and went away, yes, we were quite pissed off, but even so, my husband wished him Merry Christmas. But the man cried a lot of obscene words LOL. Anyway, now I look at this situation from the outside and get that an angry people become angry not because of a good attitude...

Very nice man managing this flower shop. He knows what he is doing and offers a great selection of roses, tulips and such. Had a great time visiting and will for sure go back. Ps, close to the station which is a good thing if you need a last minute gift if...
