Bagels Village — Restaurant in Amsterdam

The first day in amsterdam we were looking fo a nice place to have breakfast. We went there because of the nice view and the menu. I had a bagel with mozzarella, pesto and tomatoes. It was really tasty. The next day we wanted to eat something different but didin't really find anything, so we visited this place again. I had another bagel with avocado and we had the nachos with a delicious guacamole. On the third day we wanted to have english breakfast but couldn't find any, so we went there again :D That day I had the bagel with goat cheese, walnuts and honey. For dessert we got the pancake with strawberries, cream and strawberry sauce. It was all very delicious, the juices where freshly pressed and the coffee was also very good. A cute and small cafe on a corner next to the canal. We stood around waiting to be greeted and seated at a table like you have to in most countries however I ended up having to ask them if I could just sit at a table as they weren’t very attentive like what we are used to.

I had the Mixed Bagel (without the Ham). The bagel was lovely and soft however it was lacking on ingredients. It needed more sauce or some butter as often mouthfuls were dry seeing as a lack of ingredients/toppings. It has 1 boiled egg, sliced, 1 slice of cucumber, 1 slice of a cherry tomato and a slice of Gouda. The flavours were good but just not enough to compliment the bread ratio. It could have been perfect.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Every detail, from presentation to service, was spot-on.

The bagels themselves were on another level, fresh, perfectly chewy on the outside, soft on the inside, and generously filled with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
