DO NOT HAND THEM YOUR ID. Posting this review out of sheer concern about personal safety and privacy concerns.
I went last week to check my shoe size and order shoes from the store. The sales person was extremely kind and helpful, I also gave him a quick internal review on the link he shared with. When I went to collect my shoes the person at the Reception TUE was very rude, asked me that do I even have a id and to wait as he/them preferred to get the payments done from other customers first. The shoes weren’t the right size so I returned them and order one size larger. The manager dino was very kind and helped me. When I went to collect the right shoes, the same person at reception asked for my id (and his friend Tariq) he didn’t want to see my receipt. He/them took the ID with him/them in back to check for the order. Then tried to search in the box behind the counter. Finally the box was just at their feet where they were standing. Strongly suspect that they took my id in the back and took pictures. Hence my concerns for my personal safety and privacy as my id has sensitive information. I hope Nike responds to this, as I will have to report this if my ID is misused. I tried to ask for the manager, the guy Tariq at reception mentioned he is the manager. Read moreFirst of all let me start with that I never ever wrote a bad review anywhere. However yesterday I went to the Nike store in Amsterdam expecting that the staff there were professionals and could help me pick the right stuff (shoes, pants, tops, sport bra's) especially shoes for working out. The whole experience was just terrible! I was for about half an hour at the store and in that time not one of the present (loudly chatting with each other) staff bothered to ask me if they could help or whatsoever. When I interrupted them and asked the guy something, they gave me that look like "what the hell.. you're interrupting". The guy couldn't give me a proper answer. He had zero knowledge about that!
Nike should replace all of their staff from last Thursday night (08-01 - '15)! They all behaved very unprofessionally. For someone who specially went to the Nike store with high expectations, I left very, very, very disappointed.

I wanted a shoe it was around 120€ in the store but 83€ online and then I showed the discount online the worker told me I can get the same discount as the website and she went and noted to the cashier that, when I came to pay the cashier refused to apply the discount and I went to the worker to tell her she said I should get the discount and she talked with her manager or supervisor and then he said we do that sometimes but today we can’t but some days we give the same discount!!?? Even the worker was shocked and she started to speak in Dutch with him that ‘ we do that always I don’t understand why not now’ she said that to him and they didn’t think I can understand them.
