Quite a busy place but a good one for breakfast or lunch. Depending on when you arrive you might need to wait a little bit, but in our case we managed to get a seat immediately. The restaurant is quite busy and the seating area is quite small. The upstairs are is s bit bigger but there's still not a lot of room there. It can also get quote loud of there's a lot of people. The service is okay and the staff is friendly and helpful. The wait after you order is pretty long. We had to wait fairly long for our drinks to arrive and the food was an even longer wait. With how busy this place is I understand there's a wait but it is for sure something to keep on mind. The dinks are nice and maybe even a bit on the sweeter side of things and they also give you the option to swap out regular milk for oat milk. The food takes a while to get to you do be prepared to spend some time just waiting. The food is really nice and tasty. The bread is crisp and soft and the ingredients are fresh. They have quite big serving sizes so you won't feel hungry after. Overall it's a good place to go but if you are on a rush or have a lot of people in front of you waiting on line it might be better to go to another spot. I definitely think that the waiting time could be a big negative but in our case the food was worth waiting for.

“An appeltaart a day keeps the doctor away.” This is just irrefutable science (as confirmed by the medical research that I’m currently conducting). ⚕️ Whether you agree with this form of self-medicating or not, if you’ve ever sampled Dutch apple pie I’m feeling pretty confident that you’ll agree that this stuff is amazing! So densely packed with cinnamon apples, this is probably the tallest slice of pie that I’ve ever encountered. Prepared with the tandem ingredients of cinnamon and brown sugar, I wondered if the taste would be dominated by sweetness. However, they are added in measured proportions so that each bite is harmonious and flavorful. The crumble top adds a wonderful texture, and when supplemented by a generous dollop of whipped cream, this all comes together to serve as a delicious companion to any balanced meal. 😉 My only lingering question is: I wonder if I can get my doctor to write me a daily prescription for this stuff? 🤔 And that’s…Henry’s Take. #appeltaart

I am a loyal customer but today has a bad experience in this store with the staff. Upon entering the store an Asian lady was very rude to me asking me decide to sit or to take away next doors. Her attitude was really rude and didn’t even give me the chance to think about it. I decided to sit and eat as I am 8 months pregnant and really needed to get some energy. The waitress then upstairs took my order in details and did not clean my table (there were left overs from previous customers and dirty tables and she seemed quite lost but I tried to remain patient). After a long 40 minutes (!) she approached and told me that she forgot to put my order in the system and she asked me to reminder her of my order. Of course after all of this I had to leave. What surprised me was the lack of empathy from both staff for a pregnant customer. To the owner: your cakes our lovely and super tasty, but please train this stuff to do better. There are so many people out there who can do this job better and care about customer...
