It wasn't really for me, but it could be more for you? Let's start from the good stuff : - Absolutely amazing location. I have been in Amsterdam 5 times and this is probably the best location to get to every major place within 30 minutes,it doesn't matter which way you go,really. - There is a tram stop 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Line 2 is your best bet to get to and from the central station. Line 17 to go further to Leidensplait or Rembrandt Museum. You need to have an app and Internet access all the time to buy tickets and use it, though. - There is a local supermarket just 3 minutes down the street and a small refrigerator in the room. Really useful and comfy for an evening snack - Room has an air con, which is extremely helpful in this weather. It works as heating as well if you need it. - Refrigerator in the room was stocked with some snacks and drinks - Very good coffee machine, I appreciate it was very clean, including water tank. You get small cups for it and they will top it up daily for you. - You will get really, really nice body wash, shampoo, soap, body lotion and ... HAIR CONDITIONER. It's one of that rare things most hotels never think off and this one did. Hats off, that made me really happy. - Bed was comfy and big. I had a really good night sleep there. Widows have thick curtains or blinds and it stays quite dark. Things that didn't convince me so much: - STAIRS!!!! I was on the 4th floor, steps are extremely steep and this was an absolute nightmare. I don't think I have ever had so much problem to climb up the stairs, then there. Once I needed a toilet and was outside the hotel. I decided it was easier to talk 15 minutes to another place up the road then climb up. That's how bad it was for me. - Looking at the pictures online I was struggling to imagine what the rooms really look like and had no option to choose. It seems like all 2 beds and each with different designs. I was slightly worried it may be too much for me, but the design seemed lucking or a little in progress? - It wasn't extremely clean hotel. It probably doesn't help that carpets are black and show more than hide. Breakfast room had a small vases with a dead almost dry roses and old water for a 4 days out of 5. At this point I feel it's more of a statement than an accident. Shower and tiles were but brown and what you can see on the pics is not a gimmick of the light, it is what it is. Walls in the room were bit dirty and now it doesn't help it was all in white. It seem like a good place, but could use bit of tlc. - Toilet and the shower together. Also just glass half door. If you are not ready to use toilet together, that place can make it very awkward. You can romantise walk-in big shower all you want, but there is no curtains and no privacy. Also old pipes. Toilet didn't block, but every time I was back, room smelled like a sewage. -TV can only be watched from the bed, you cannot extend it or turn it towards the table and seating area. Although it had fairly good mix of channels from many countries. - Room was overall big enough, but seem lucking, as there was lot of wasted space and just one cabinet. I could easily see the space under the air con to be utilised into small kitchen with sink, refrigerator and a bin, plus just a normal kettle with tea and coffee. - Breakfst was around 21 per person and you get what you can see on the picture. You cannot choose anything apart from the drinks (which are actually really nice - especially latte), plus : 3-5 mini rolls, 2 slices of bread, 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of salami, 2 boiled eggs, 5-10 mini Dutch pancakes, 6 mini pastries, bowl or 2 of natural yoghurt with some grains and cinnamon. Some jams, Nutella, Butter in a small sqare pots. That's all for 2 person breakfast. It wasn't bad, but for this price I would prefer to chose what I can eat. If you are sandwich for breakfast kind of person, you won't really be interested in pastry and there won't be enough of bread or meat. Eat out, it's better and less or similar price plus all very close

First I have been going to the supper club restaurant for over 15 years and have always been impressed with the restaurant. This weekend we booked a 4 person "LE NOIR FRIENDS BY SUPPER" for 519 Euros per night! And OMG what what is a disappointment. Not just seriously BAD, but even complete FRAUD. The pictures they advertise this room with on their website and social media shows a large hotel appartment with 2 seperate bedrooms and a living room, in reality this is a very small single Hotel room that is in utter bad condition. The "walk-in rain shower with luxurious toiletries." had zero toiletries, a cheap shower curtain that fell down in the first minute and was not in a bathroom, but directly in the room. So you walk-in from the carpet into the small shower (with very very low pressure water). After 1 minute shower, the carpet gets wet. The 2nd "bedroom" is above the shower/toilet, you can access this with a very dangerous "stair" with no lights. The upstairs bed has no fence, so if you roll out of bed or misstep you drop down 2.5meters. Everything is black and the "COLOURED MOOD LIGHTING" is all the lighting there is, which in the dark means you see almost nothing. For a trendy brand as supperclub, the room is to the pre-electricity standard. There are ZERO outlets in the entire room available. The only 2 power outlet in the room we found was behind the bed stand, which was used for the JBL Speaker and Fridge. So supperclub does not assume you want to charge any of your phones. When we enter the room, the closet above the only mini sink was filled with dirty towels and all kinds of other dirty stuff. The magnetic light buttons kept falling from the walls and everything looked like this was a hotel room that has been heavily in use for at least 15 years. We had paid 519 euros for the room and late check out and only still had to pay 3euro tourism fee and 7% city tax (48euro), but on arrival at 6pm (checkin starts from 3pm) we had to wait 30 minutes for our room and they made us pay an extra 133 euros! The staff refused to believe we had pay the full bill, while we showed them the invoice and payment details. So in total this room costed us for one night 653 EUROS!!!!! The 133euro has actually been deducted 2x from our credit card, so we do hope we can back at least the duplicate payment, else the room is 786euros. It is crazy to think that such a well respected brand as the supper club operates a hotel like this. Fake advertisement of what the room looks like, massively overcharging customers and a staff that is completely ignorant. My advice, have fun at the supper club restaurant, but stay in any other hotel. An animal shelter will be even better.

The SUPPER Hotel or The SUFFER Hotel? I hate leaving a negative review but after booking three nights at this hotel, I had to cancel after our first night stay because of how awful the room was. We were there less than 24 hours. I was offered a frown, a coffee, and no refund on the remaining nights because “there wasn’t a leak”. But apparently all the other bits were excusable. Whether you’re thinking about booking or you’re management looking for ways to improve, here’s what you can expect from Supper: • A room the size of a mattress. I’m 6’4” so the room is incredibly claustrophobic with a wall to wall to wall bed—truly worse than an American college dorm room. In the pictures I didn’t realize that this was the whole room. I added some photos with a suitcase for scale so you can see before booking in case you have accessibility needs. If you are sleeping on the inside of the bed, get ready to not only hop up but hop over your partner as this two-twin-beds-pushed-together bed is fully against 3 walls. • A bathroom with thin glass saloon-style doors (aka no closing door) to ensure your whole room steams up with the shower and there’s no toilet privacy • A hot projector perpetually humming above your head in the bed even when it’s off • 0 attempt at soundproofing against their nightclub which is conveniently located below or next door. • No where to sit and no full-length mirror. Literally the bed is on a riser, so you have to sit on a suitcase or the toilet to put a shoe on. If you wear make-up, get ready to do it laying down or on a high ledge in the bathroom. • Bonus: Black mold speckling the ceiling I can tell the staff is really kind and trying their best against the hotels’ policies. They know the keycards often break, no one is staffed after 11pm, the alarms will go off randomly if you don’t close the door hard, and that this building was never really meant to be a hotel. This hotel is probably really cool if you’re 18, single, and using it as a crash pad. Otherwise, Supper = Sub-par.

My partner and I had a fantastic time at Supper hotel.|We arrived in Amsterdam at about 11am and walked very easily from the central train station to the hotel. The walk is only 15 to 20 mins and is very direct and easy to find. As we arrived early we were able to drop our bags off as our room was not available until 3pm (which is when check in usually is). On walking into the hotel there is a bar, we were offered drinks every time we walked past which was nice, and flavoured water freely available. |At check in we were taken to our room and shown around. We had a ‘La Neige’ room, which was on the 2nd floor, with a window view of the canal. The room had aircon (definitely needed in August!), mood lighting with a controller so you could pick the light colour in the bedroom and bathroom (a lot of fun and very cool!). |Double bed was very comfortable with two fluffy pillows each. There is no tv in the room but a projector which you can connect your devices to, we had BBC1 and 2 on as well as Netflix and YouTube - we loved this feature to the room. |The only odd thing about the room was the shower/toilet area is very voyeristic. Holidaying with my partner we found this hysterical particularly when messing around with the lighting whilst the other is in the shower. For those not too keen on this feature there is a curtain for the shower….but not the toilet…..|Something important to take into account! The stairs are incredibly steep, like INCREDIBLY steep. You need to take this into account if you have mobility issues, the design and shape of the building is clearly original thus this needs to be taken into consideration when booking. |Having read previous reviews I was slightly worried about the noisiness and cleanliness - I needn’t have worried, the room was very clean, the hotel was very clean and we weren’t bothered by any sound at all. |Overall, my partner and I had a wonderful time, would highly recommend and...
