I must first and foremost state that they have one of the best online booking systems in NZ. They also offer one of the most affordable cleaning rates which makes it feasible for us to use them regularly which is what makes it more practical and logical. Many other cleaners charge much higher rates. The NexDo team have always been polite and happy to address any areas of concern that we have pointed out to them. 5 months ago I had used them for a Standard clean and was delighted with their cleaning. I gave them 5 stars and a fabulous review (see below). This time I booked them again for their “Move out clean” package. This time I was less impressed with their cleaning and found that it was not fully worth the money that we paid for this cleaning. We could probably have received the same standard of cleaning with a “Deep clean” or even a “Standard clean” package that would have been about half the cost of this package. After the cleaners had finished, I had to point out the windows and the ledges, the light fixtures, etc., that had not been cleaned and got them to clean these again. After they had left, we went into the house for a quick inspection and found the floor area under the fridge was left in a terrible mess. This house is only about 3 or 4 years old and so the cleaners didn’t have a lot of deep cleaning to do across the rest of the house. The kitchen and bathrooms should have been areas that the cleaners should have paid clearer attention to for a “Move out clean”. The inside of the fridge does not get cleaned as they stated that, that wasn’t included which I was okay with. However, the outside of the fridge and the floor area should have been cleaned thoroughly. A “Move out” clean has to be more thorough than a “Standard clean”. However, the team was friendly and very polite and attempted to clean the areas that I had pointed out. It was an “Okay” clean but certainly could have been a lot better. Despite this, I do believe that NexDo is one of the best cleaning companies that we have in New Zealand at present.
5 months ago. Standard Clean “Wow and Wow!! Absolutely delighted to finally have found a wonderful solution for our cleaning requirements! Nexdo’s app and their booking system is a real joy, we can pick and choose whatever rooms and areas we need cleaned. A special mention to V and Stacey who were genuinely a pleasure to have around. They were here on time and were warm and engaging throughout. Even though they were under time pressure for their next appointment, they did a wonderful job. I cannot say enough about this company and their excellent team. I will most definitely use them again. I highly recommend this...

It's really frustrating to deal with these cleaners who after 40 minutes tell you that they have cleaned your entire home, only for you to find out that they have not touched any furniture surface. I have signed up for regular monthly standard cleaning. The cleaners are terribly lazy who want to get away with doing 40% of their job. The management sends new cleaners every month. Each time the new cleaners are worse than the previous ones. Today two guys came and after 1/2 hour one of the guys was standing idly watching as the other was mopping the floor. I asked him if he has finished his work, he confirmed that he had finished cleaning. I went to the bedrooms and wiped my finger on the furniture surfaces, and all surfaces were dusty. I told him to clean the surfaces then he did. Then again I went to check and asked if he dusted the leather chair. He said no and then started cleaning it. Then I noticed and told them that kitchen backsplash, fridge bar stools were still dirty. Then he cleaned those. I told them that they need to clean the massage chair and the two kids chairs. They dusted those items and then again claimed that they had completed all cleaning and finished their job. After they left, I spent an hour cleaning the items they still had not touched. The 8 seater travertine dining table was not even touched as it had the sticky cold drink stains from the last night dinner. The rack and the table in the entry way had dust on them. The kitchen counter top had water stains. The surfaces of electronics had dust on them. The beds were not tidy. Instead they just spread the quilts on the beds, but did not bother to tuck in the bedsheets or puff up pillows.
The standard clean includes dusting / wiping the furniture surfaces tidying up beds etc... But the cleaners don't want to do anything other than vacuuming, moping, toilet and kitchen sink.
The job they do, does not worth money that I pay this company.
And it's definitely not worth the frustration I get by having to repeatedly check and instruct them and even after that have to spend another hour wiping the surfaces.
I don't want to continue taking cleaning service from this company.
My subscription is for one year. But I will ask them to cancel my...
Read moreI booked with NextDo after seeing an ad on social media - I wish I had read the Google reviews first! I booked them to do a deep clean at 8am on a Monday morning to have the house ready for photos being taken before being put up for sale, and for the open homes. On the Sunday night at 6.30pm I received a call from NexDo asking me if they could could come earlier and they suggested 8am; I said we are already booked for 8am and they said oh okay and ended the conversation. 4 minutes later they called back and said can we make the booking 9am? I said that’s fine if it can all be completed prior to our photographer coming at 11am. My husband was at home when the cleaner arrived 20 minutes late, in a private car and not wearing a NexDo uniform (I wonder if there was some sort of mix up and scramble to find someone but NexDo didn’t say whether that was the case or not). When I arrived home from work I noted that the cleaner nowhere near completed the list that is noted on their website for the deep clean - I took photos of just some of the examples which I forwarded to NexDo… the front of the oven was still dirty, as was the stove top, the shower still had grime on it, the cabinets in both the kitchen and bathroom were not wiped down and there was lots more - none of the three mirrors were not cleaned, high touch areas neglected. The house certainly wasn’t particularly dirty to begin with so it shouldn’t have been hard to get through the checklist. I emailed NexDo to ask them to either give us a partial refund or to come back to do another clean - their response was to give me $30 in my “wallet” to use towards my next booking. I said this wasn’t good enough so they said they’d come back on the next Tuesday - I asked if they could do the following Tuesday instead and they said no they need to rectify the problem within two weeks of the initial clean so they can fix the problem areas before more grime builds up, to which I replied that I had already cleaned the neglected areas due to having open homes and not being able to leave them as they were; to this they then responded that they would give me $20 in the wallet towards my next clean instead?! How ridiculous… I’ve told them to forget about it and that I won’t be booking again....
